Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

I tend to trust DF, and there are some signs that releases were targeting something beyond current specs, yet on the other hand detailed tech stats and, more importantly, physical actions (like production line changes or part purchases) never came out of China, meaning they were far from ready to announce.

I started the year with 96 Switch games and finish the year with 203.

What a great system.
>most of those games are shitty tranny “indie” games

Oh how a legacy of kain spinoff could put BOTW to shame with an actual fucking story instead of autistic refusal to communicate one directly and forcing grifter “lore” youtube channels to exist instead.

Sadly that fandom seems to have been taken over by moebius’ cutthroat tranny army who insist on discord.

I'm a bit on the same boat although I'm putting a brake on getting more games until I cleared (most of) my current backlog. Namely the Dragon Quest Heroes games, Xenoblade 2, Megaton Musashi Cross, Legend of Heroes Sen no Kiseki (where are my japanese Crossbell games Falcom goddamnit), Super Touhou Wars and a bunch of VNs. The amount of games I've played on Switch in two years now is probably as much as, if not higher, than what I recall playing on PC alone in the past decade, thanks to the form factor.

2023 is looking to have some interesting Switch titles for me as well. Especially Buccanyar, R-Type Tactics I & II Cosmos, Grim Guardians: Demon Purge, the Ys remakes and Pikmin 4.

How good are his games on the whole, and which is the best one to start with? It's been a long while since I tried a mystery dungeon game
That’s Shiren. Shin’en (who’s only been around since 1999, not SNES) is most well-known for the Fast Racing games.
And I’ve never played Shiren, but the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games are great.

Shin'en is made of these guys, just as a professional company. As Abyss they've been active since '92.

Please elaborate
My guess is he wants BOTW to spill out all its lore. There is a big Zelda YT community that has spend years autistically piecing the lore of the game together (not unlike Dark Souls) and making theories about it, I suppose.

107 games in a year, how do you fucking do that?
Either he buys games to just fill the library, or every waking moment is spent on video games

I can't vouch for him, but it's easy to do at least one or two hours of vidya a day by managing your schedule well and a handheld console does help to break out multiple sessions (with the sleep function). However, I agree on being wary of sales and not fall into blind consumerism. I barely spent on this Christmas sales besides on some DLCs of games I've already owned, as I'd like to finish my vidya backlog of untouched titles first.

At least, I've fully enjoyed the most recent Switch games I've purchased this month (Samurai Maiden and EDF 4.1 for NSW).

I know a guy who regularly balances playing multiple different games in one day while still working a full time job (or at least he used to before he moved). He usually just puts in a few hours in one game, then moves to the next one, then moves to the next one in his free time. And considering at one point that his work involved a degree of telecommuting, he apparently played games off and on in-between work on top of that. Somehow had that sense of self-control to know when it was time to pause the game and commit fully to work, and when he could squeeze some game time in.

He also tends to pirate most games where possible, so there's that too.
