As we end 2022, just think, much of this ride began on New Year's Eve 2019.

You remember that night. It was when she traveled to party with one of her friends (maybe it was Shannon?) and decided to ghost her and instead hung out with Peetz in her hotel room - who magically just showed up unannounced. She tried to hide it from her viewers, knowing she'd get shit from her viewers for being alone on NYE with her ex-boyfriend while her boyfriend was back at home. But eventually came clean. A few weeks later, her and Bibi are breaking up and she's moving out.

I don't know if that NYE event is what pushed Bibi to finally move to end the relationship or if that was a result of their relationship having ended months prior (maybe even when he went back to Africa) but regardless, it was a pivotal moment that gave us a glimpse into the new future with Chantal and Peetz.

And here we are. On yet another eve of the new year. Chantal is miserable in Kuwait, raging against her haters and once again trying to pretend she's happy and has the love interest of her partner.
