Thanks for posting. That must be the worst weekend ever for Nick. Followed by the worst day of his life. From a neutral point of view, that must be hell for him. Perhaps the last time of him being outside for a long time...

My guess is that being outside is the least of what he'll miss. The squalor, wanking, social media, now that's what he'll long for.

I got a Google Alert set for his name, so we'll probably know his sentence. His arrest and conviction made the local media, so I imagine his sentence will get a few lines too.

Nick is soon to face what is expected to be a very lengthy prison term, double digits it would appear for sure. Not a prospect any of us would be wanting to face I would say. Each of us would have ways of dealing with it I suppose.
But, Nick Bate, probably one of the most depraved and disgusting people I have ever come across, is not like you and I. What the hell will run thru his head when the judge gives the sentence? Will he truly comprehend he is doomed? Will he grasp that he will not be free to do anything but what a prisoner is made to do? Does he realize how fucked he is?
So, begs the question which I don't think has been asked? Will anyone be able to attend to witness the shit turd get flushed? If so, I am sure many Semper Fis will be headed your way when you post about the hearing. Especially when you tell us Nick's reaction. Maybe he will just hang his head and be led away. Maybe he will lose it and start crying and screaming and will need to be medicated (if he isn't already going into the hearing) and dragged out of the court house.
Either way, much rejoicing will be had when we find out the scoop!
I had a thought too. Someone mentioned sending the letter to Nick once he gets settled in his new accommodations. I think we should print off all 3 threads in their entirety and send to him. It will give him lots to read!
And if it gets intercepted and opened by the screws, all the better as then they will know the true story of Nick! And before long the whole prison will know who is staying amongst them!

I think there was a time Nick probably didn't understand just how real this was but after nearly a year in prison, and after hearing how he appeared during his last few times in court it sounds like all the fight has been sucked out off him, a beautiful thing to hear about for sure but to me it suggests he's well aware that he is well and truly fucked now.
It would be amazing if we had someone attending the sentencing but considering how short notice this all is I completely understand why no one from here will probably show up. We've had some brilliant reports from a lot of brilliant people on here in the past. Plus we'll find out for sure within no time at all from Google alerts

No. Honestly, the saga's over. When we get the sentence, I'm going to put it in big bold letters as the last post in this thread and lock it. Then we'll announce the winner of #SickNickSentence.
This is a rare occurrence, the total and complete conclusion of a lolcow saga. It's not every day that we can conclusively say we know what's going to happen. Nick is going to get murdered in prison, and it'll be a quickly-forgotten footnote added to the locked thread. That's all, folks.
