He always asks his waitress at the restaurant what her favorite video game is and if she doesn't respond with a PlayStation franchise he excuses himself to the bathroom where he swipes his PlayStation credit card through his sweaty asscrack a few times before he hands it over. I asked him why he did that and he tried to explain that the joystick positions on Xbox and Switch controllers are designed for filthy hands anyway, so it's not like she'll notice. I told him that didn't make any sense, so he pulled out a hand-drawn diagram where he tried to explain how cartoon stink lines travel and how they're different coming off of hands holding different style controllers. So I just paid for my meal, left the waitress a generous tip, and left. I looked back in the window and noticed he was still hyperfocused on his diagram, pointing to things and explaining them to nobody. I don't think he noticed I was gone.

I think I got my Switch in 2018. I like it because it's portable. Though I don't play it outside. I have my phone for that. I just watch YouTube videos to kill time. I don't play the Switch that often but I have a bunch of games for it. When I do play games it's usually at my PC. Some games I would never play on the Switch. Like Doom 2016 or Doom Eternal. Those are PC only games.

I have an buddy named @Marissa Moira who owns an time machine. He just DM'd me that he just came back from celebrating New Years '24 and that he's enjoying the F-Zero remaster that came out on Christmas Eve for the Switch Pro.

It’s definitely a worthy successor to the first two games with good writing, and I highly recommend it. The normal difficulty is similar to Thousand Year Door, but there are optional badges you get at the start that make the game harder, along with cheats that can change difficulty in various ways.
And I don’t know if this is only for the PC version, but you can go into Options and change the button prompts to match basically any controller type, including Gamecube to really make it feel like TTYD2.
