Jet Neptune is alright he just looks really weird and dresses bad.

It’s kinda funny how the most visual example of generation gap is Sam and Nick and Sam’s employees

Charls is kind of puffing his ego by demanding it wouldn’t be world peace without him. Might be true, he’s funny in a very charismatic way- or was, because he looks like Idubzzz will in 6 months and was rattling off his refusal like a schitzo hobo for 11 minutes. completely different person than how he was on WP. He’s right that Sam ruined things, but ruining things was just Sam getting mad they wouldn’t air “Jews Rock” and doing a flip. Nick recovered and redirected like a man does, his rhode island sensibilities kept him cool and appreciating Sam as a friend without blaming him as the supervillain in his life. Good for Charls if he “fixed his life” but saying Sam ruined his life in the first place is kind of pathetic

I think it's fair considering how much writing he did during MDE's ~6 year history in addition to being 1/3rd of the main cast.

They tried to not talk about it. The fact that this is the first actual details we've received from either of them post breakup is a testament to that. It keeps getting brought up because people ask about it unrelentingly.

Looks like Sam paywalled his unlisted streams to "members only" and taken down any VOD reuploaded. At what point should you be considered blatantly greedy and exploitative? He's really trying to siphon his profits like a stereotypical bunioned individual.

He's more or less accepted in the mainstream sphere given that he can monetize his streams. He can't really do the right wing grifter thing of "I'm being cancelled everywhere I need to pay for food. It seems more like "I believe It takes 15 million dollars to make a game with PS2 graphics and I keep wasting money on cars and useless accessories". I would argue that if you work with comedy you have to show some humility and humble yourself a bit, this aggressive capitalistic obsession is kind of jarring.

His stream vods weren't worth much watching anyway, I tried watching through 2 or 3 streams of his and skipped through most of them because it got really annoying with these superchat doners of 20yo to 30yo NEETS giving out the same copypasta questions to Sam and Nick for daddy advice. Like seriously who are you donating to a live streamer with "Hey I'm a 27yo walmart employee and I have 5k in the bank, pls daddy tell me what to do." If you are at the point you're sending an e-celeb money to tell you how to live your life you're already a lost cause and should probably kill yourself.

I tried to watch a recent stream with Nick and one of the lackeys about shitty houses. Couldn't make it 5 minutes in. I think I got it via yt-dlp, but it's worthless.

I think I watched at most 20 minutes overall of each stream I looked at. I skipped through them because it's just 80% people asking them to review their houses, cars, and superchatting about their living state, it got very boring and annoying.

There are some nuggets though that I'm glad were clipped and compiled like Sam's Balenciaga bit.

It's bad enough just posting on /r9k/ but being a tripfag is unforgivable. Jet somehow still manages to be the least insufferable of the Zoomer MDE crew though.

Sam isn't based anymore. He's a shill and modern MDE is very antithetical towards it's original spirit. Sam used to hate sports and wiggers and now it's a huge part of his content now. It's way less interesting, intellectual, and provocative now.

He can still be funny, his recent Balenciaga prank call and the Candyman bit were pretty funny. I don't know about what he does with his wigger crew or whatever. Seems kinda cringe and he's definitely not someone to take life and "financial advice" from.
