I think it's him embracing it while also believing it is not as bad when he does it, mostly due to the gauntlet of poor decisions he has subjected his body to. Think of it from his perspective: in spite of the massive (and I do mean massive) number of bad things that have happened as a result of his behavior (e.g. court cases out the ass, two ass-beatings in foreign countries, loss of employment prospects), he still has his show. That is, at it's surface, more than someone like MundaneMatt and Skydoesminecraft can say. Again, at surface glance. Sure his chances of winning mainstream positive appeal are basically zero and his chances of avoiding the inevitable long-term ramifications are even lower, but he still has it for the time being. And for someone like Ralph, that's all that really matters.
Remember, Ralph is not a long-term thinker. If he is, he's not a very good one. He's like Wings of Redemption in that both think very short-term, except Ralph has to cope as a defensive mechanism. Likely because any introspection beyond the surface will either result in him going postal or killing himself
