You'd think a guy who pretty much grew up on camera would know what angles do/n't work for him because this one absolutely does NOT. Not only the smile looks sincere, but he looks his age. He's not trying to look like he's 20 years younger, he isn't acting as such either (he's just being honestly playful in order to entertain his son). And he's not trying to hide losing hair either. When we say that charisma and confidence are things you can't fake, this is what it means.

I have a hunch Sander's exasperate sweaty balding and wrinkling is his body aging as he feels inside. Costantly nervous, living in a Truman show family with a terrible secret (his castrated little brother presented as a 'girl' around whom everyone has to walk on eggshells) and he's a 'public figure' (of sorts) to boot. He is costantly telling himself and especially others that EVERYTHING IS FINE!! but his eyes betray him. Sander is a piece of shit for various reasons but honestly I do pity him a little.

One of the things that's sort of fallen out of discourse in the West is the idea of "spoiling" children. Undisciplined kids grow into dissolute adults.

Sander seems "spoiled" to me in that I don't think he was ever really forced to do something he didn't want to do as a kid and it shows.

I know Boy Scouts are seen as a right-wing org but they focus explicitly on character education and the men I know who became Eagle Scouts all seem to have personal integrity.

Like I think hiking the AT or something (and not in the sex way) would be character building for Sander.

I say this because there's a little gap near the wall instead of the leg being in the exact corner of the frame and also because choosing the very first result for "bed frame" off Amazon seems like a Jennings thing to do. If Sander had looked for like 2 minutes he would have been able to find something like this at the same price point.

As much as I'm one to enjoy shitting on Sanders, his cheap furniture doesn't really bother me. In my first apartment I literally had a bed, a set of shelves on which I kept my tv and N64, and a seat from an old Volvo to sit on.

Everybody's so awkward because it is awkward. You don't yell stuff like that in front of your brothers, unless it's truly an emergency, like being at home alone and nobody else is there. There are two women there, any normal girl had called them and ask help privately, not scream "GIVE ME A PAD PLEASE!" And this is how all the other Jennings kids have grown up like, hearing about every one of Jazz' bodily functions. This is close to sexual abuse.

However. If you talk to people who grew up in dysfunctional families, whether drug abuse, sexual abuse, narc parents, many of them will tell you that they knew their family was fucked up, and that they couldn’t wait to be 18 to move out and distance themselves as far as possible.

Maybe it’s a strength of character thing, maybe it’s a survivor thing, who the f knows.

My point is Sander isn’t any different from other people who grew up in dysfunctional families.

What you say is true, but there are exceptions. The abuse the Jennings suffered was never obvious for them. Even in households without a trans kid, some parents tend to favor more one kid than the others. Sander, Griff, and Ari were not completely neglected by their parents either and they feel loved: they lived in a good house, never missed a meal, went to college, etc. That's why emotional abuse is so hard to accept for some.

Also, and more important, the physical abuse Jazz went through, they didn't suffered it themselves and they think it was something he needed to go through. They all are convinced that Jazz was indeed someone who needed special care for being trans. They are never going to admit or realise they all were abused until they are aware that they were sold a lie about Jazz being trans. Until that happens, the situation for them isn't different than a kid who needs chemo to survive: sure, chemo destroys your body, but the other option is to die of cancer.

I think this is incorrect.

When Sander is 30-40, he will meet a woman who has borderline personality disorder and is looking for an easy pushover who will encourage her to trans her future kids (or whatever new kind of child harm is popular with munchie moms in a few years). Sander will be an easy mark and she'll be pregnant within a year of them meeting.

But that's the problem. He doesn't want Grindr. He wants a boyfriend-free girl. With gays Sander would have already been laid ages ago, they only care about how quickly and serviceably you can bring them to orgasm, so even ugly dudes can have a purpose in the right occasion (and Sander is not ugly, he is above average  technically).
