(c) Doug sees him - as doug sees most people - as just another spiritually doomed person not on the Doug path.
(d) Doug's own views offline are not quiet orthodox either.

I believe DougT is a real God-fearing Christian, however his philosophy is to hang out with sinners to help them (like Jesus) so I doubt he will publicly go against Racket. He probably will start pestering him irl though. I've only seen him beef with people because of personal conflicts - like if Rackets said something bad about Doug specifically. He also has a strong aversion to making fun of women, because of his southern gentleman larp.

He's definitely toned down the last few interactions. The comment section of Elissa's youtube channel he went from sperging at people to discussing it with commenters. I do wonder if the name calling and sperging was due to him feeling the effects of the comedown off MDMA.

There are quite a few (ahem) Christians out there who believe Christ was mortal, He was just a Really Good Guy who was the symbolic Son of God to show us some sort of nebulous righteous way of living, or some shit like that. If He were a mere philosopher or do-gooder, then why bother going to church Sunday morning? Grift, which is a motivating factor, because everyone wants to believe in a God that loves them without having to really change their lives (I’m guilty of that myself). Flattery puts coins in the coffer.
