IMO border and land disputes ought to be resolved by people who live there and have the will to defend them, not some international coalitions. It's a legitimate worldview, but it's not realistic for smaller countries, which inevitably need allies and have to play empires against another. For example, Romanian principalities would likely still be under Islamic rule if not for the Russian-Ottoman rivalry. Not because they were cowardly, history has noticed the endless, bitter fighting between various Romanian precursor tribes like Moldavians and Vlachs vs Turks, but the eventual outcome, even with some big victories for the much smaller, worst equipped Romanians was to yet again succumb to some nearby empire. This is a good lesson to learn, as there were at least 4 imperial powers nearby, Austria-Hungary/Habsburgs/whatever, Ottomans, Poles and Russians. To achieve a recognized nation, Romanian tribes had to fight with the Russians, which were not friends and fought with Poland for influence over Moldova. It had to side with the Nazis later to take back land from the same Russians. And then to assure survival, it had to turn weapons against the Axis and fight with the Russians deep into the heart of Czechoslovakia at immense human cost - but a price in blood had to be paid to wash away the sin of siding with the losers at the start of WW2. The same machinations are found in WW1, characterized by an autistic determination to create a nation state for the ethnic group, and siding with the devil until you cross the river.
There is no other way to keep smaller, largely ethnic states alive. You can be courageous as much as you want, but the bigger fish will swallow you.
The US is the ideal bigger fish for East Europe, as it's far away and its threat is minimal to the nation state. An ethnic nation state can endure communism, fascism, liberalism and progressivism, but what it cannot endure is occupation and annexation.
To make things worse, for nations that are quite poor, there is no way to build modern armies at the needed size either. If a ruler would try that, the living standards would decrease below those of the commie era, because most of the investment would have to go in the army.
This is how I see things from a pragmatic viewpoint. Now this is less than ideal and I'd lose to have a super strong army to protect us from both faggotry and invasion, and living standards, and a lot of other things, but I know that won't happen.
The best solution against US/EU liberalism is to be like Hungary and "encourage" the US to become normal again, so we get a less progressive US empire that's less of a social threat. But to leave NATO or EU and become "independent" militarily is not a wise choice for East EU, it would be catastrophic. Another smart move is to simply delay applying the desires of Western NGOs and lie to them endlessly, in an attempt to buy time and hope some regime change will occur that won't push faggy stuff on us.
Things CAN change in the West. There's Meloni, Denmark, there's Austria who is seething against migration, Sweden Democrats etc. There is some hope.
But we have to be smart in the East and pursue our own interests, and national defense and integrity come first.
