Inactive Nick Bate / Nickalaus B. Stoutzenberger - (Thread 3: JUDGEMENT DAY)

Also, by the way, during this whole thing, it seemed that Nick Bate was shaking. Kind of like sustained shivering. Later I figured it was because he was jiggling his leg, but, I don't know, it seemed to be pretty vigorous leg shaking. He was pretty nervous.

I have been thinking about this. @Marvin did he shake anything like this guy before this guy was told the verdicts?

Is it possible that the reason why there's no sentence listed yet is because
it went into a continuance?

And I'm assuming the crying part didn't happen until his sentencing this morning?
Heh, yeah, he was actually pretty well composed at the trial. I wasn't really familiar with his youtube videos or anything, so I didn't know what to expect. He was more well spoken than I imagined.

It was a weird contrast with his looks. His hair was thinning and he had a ratty hobo beard.

Unfortunately I couldn't be there today for the sentencing. That sounds interesting. I would've liked to see him break down.

I know that this very last stretch of pages will inevitably be dedicated to fantasizing about increasingly lurid ways in which he will die, but I feel like everyone in this thread is simultaneously jerking off over the idea of Nick getting life and lubricating this with their tears over the thought of him getting less than the maximum possible sentence.

Stop being so unhealthily emotionally invested in lolcows. There is nothing that can be done about the outcome of the trial, and in any case, unless it's a ridiculously low sentence like "2 years and probation" it doesn't matter. Either Nick will die in prison or he will leave as a registered sex offender, and he'll be a homeless vagabond and die quickly because he does not know how to take care of himself—either way, there's no chance that he'll ever set eyes on Amber again. That's good enough.

And Nick is a horrible, reprehensible person, but there are people who've done worse than he did and there always have been and will be. Rules of law aren't going to bend or whatever just because he's involved in this.
That's what people do, though. I mean people even had him convicted and found guilty in their minds before the was even arrested.

Nick is an idiot and prone to saying stupid shit he knows isn't true. He would say "Kentucky doesn't exist", pretend to be Canadian and say he was a fan of TMBG just to impress a girl. He was an attention whore of the highest caliber. He would go into tinychat a few times back in the old /cwc/ days and say that pedophilia isn't bad and if you say it is illegal, he would say, "so? it still isn't bad" and it would get a rise out of everyone. People got to be righteously indignant with Nick and he got their attention. The problem is that people actually took it serious, so now we are where we are.

People in this very thread were joking about how Nick "hung himself" by saying the wrong thing and that his lawyer was a fool. If this were any other crime they would be balking at how the proceedings played out and would welcome an appeal for the man. I had spoke to Nick in tinychat and on AIM before, and while he seemed like someone who would tell a tall tale to get attention, I am not entirely convinced he is capable of doing what he had allegedly done.

I have to agree with you on this, PZ that people do seem to be unhealthily invested in lolcows and the elements they are invested in with Nick speak to a grim aspect of the community. Their lives do not become any better if he gets the book thrown at him, but their lives are better if REAL justice is served. This is what we should wish for, not for punitive actions by the court. If he did do what he was found guilty of, then yes incarcerate and rehabilitate, but to ponder what that means would be boring to most, so this is the discussion we get. In some ways when we ponder monsters like Nick we become monsters ourselves.

Remember that the court system isn't going to update its webpages in real time. Also, this case in Bumblefuck, PA isn't being covered by the media 24/7. Stay patient, we'll know soon enough what happened.

I don't think people's reactions in this thread are a good example of people being unhealthily invested in lolcows.

Dude's a pedophile who molested his sister. People are going to rejoice in him getting his comeuppance. It's not that unreasonable.

Pretty sure even normies would agree with us on this one.

I wouldn't be surprised if this literal shitlord got a lower sentence. Him being white plus being in a hella conservative ass Jesus loving area means that the courts are lenient on this ish. Of course, if you possess a joint or are a working girl, then they nail yo ass to the wall.

But here's hoping that he departs for Camp Hill tonight for at least two dimes
I doubt that small county has the facilities to manage either a serious pedophile or a mentally handicapped individual like Nick.

Prisoners smearing feces on the cell happens regularly in prison. I think they would have to do more than just hose it down, and most likely have the other prisoners, who have a job assignment disinfect and clean it.

Nobody is so robotic that a vile mess deliberately created by some filthy, feces spreading animal leaves them completely unmoved.
Reminder.

That kind of would matter, because it would be actually illegal. The minimum would be 72 months, i.e. 6 years, if I've read it correctly. He also can't get life, but the 40 year sentence he could get would amount to that.
Isnt he in his 20s? He would be old but alive in 40 years. But if he does get out, and thats a big if, then no one will be around to take care of him. His only real hope is to be taught to do menial tasks that can be used to get a job after hes released, but thats probably unlikely as putting him in genpop would risk getting him shanked and theres no way they would let him participate in any work release programs.

Its a shame. Despite being a pedophile and a disgusting human being in general I dont think that he was mentally disabled enough to prevent him from finding some work in a government program for. Preferably in a warehouse where he wouldnt be near children.

I know the dockets themselves state that updates may take a few days, but I seem to recall Len's docket updated the same day. Is Lancaster busier or something? By how much? The suspense kind of sucks.

Lancaster is pretty backwards, the average commute is 30 minutes longer than it should be because of all the damn horse and buggies.

Len's based out of Montgomery County, PA, which is mostly Philadelphia suburbs.

Lancaster, by contrast, is nothing but farmland, trailer courts, and medieval-ass dungeon-lookin' prisons.

In some ways when we ponder monsters like Nick we become monsters ourselves.

pseudo-philosophical bullshit.

I will go out on a limb and say that most people who "pondered nick" and his actions never ended up stalking a girl for years, or molesting their sisters. Are you really trying to say that shitposting about a guy who repeatedly claimed to be a pedophile somehow puts us on his level?

Whether he was doing it for attention or not, saying "i'm not convinced by his constant self identification as a pedophile - maybe we should have given him the benefit of the doubt" is the most retarded thing i've read all morning.

If you're doing something for shock value and 'laughs' there's a lot of better angles then pretending to be a pedophile. Nick is sick; he wrote disturbing songs, had a crusty, shit stained fuck pillow and is one good punch in the jaw away from literally have his rotting teeth knocked out. If this was some 'shtick' or merely the rambling of a nutjob then yeah, he'd be in a mental hospital by now. The fact is he's completely aware of what he was doing. Remember; he tried to prove he didn't lick someones asshole because it had shit on it by masturbating with shit.

I spoke to Nick on TinyChat as well, and I can relate to not believing he was capable of doing what he actually did. Everyone at the time felt that way, he made it very easy to believe that he was just being an edgelord.

You have to remember however that Nick is in jail right now because Ao had the courage to come forward and tell her father what Nick had done, without that the majority of us would believe he was still just trying to be edgy when he said what he did.

Now however, when a court of law has convicted him of prolonged sexual abuse there is absolutely no doubt that he isn't guilty, in my eyes at least. I understand playing devils advocate in certain situations but not in this one. He's guilty.

I see what you're getting at - but you overstate the case. I followed all three threads on Master Bate and was of course disgusted. But I never started frothing at the mouth or felt tempted to punch a hole in my laptop screen. And when I wasn't reading his thread, I barely gave the man (I use the term loosely) a second thought. When Bate was arrested, I was pleased - and I'm keen to see what sentence he gets, as it'll bring a sense of closure to this whole sordid affair. I may even crack open a beer to celebrate! Just to mark the occasion, as it were. That done, I shall forget all about Nick Bate. Forget he ever existed. And I trust others will have the sense to do likewise. Because he's simply not worth remembering.

You'll notice I didn't comment on the rest of your post.
