i didn’t see it posted (maybe missed it) that robyn posted a question on why people followed her and the majority of the responses were about Luna so Robyn has been pumping out more of her lately.

She has no IEP Robyn did a big post complaining that they would not give her a homebound IEP. Rather sure the "school" is much like her "midwives" and her "babysitters"

Huh, is that legal? Aren’t schools obligated to provide services to every child, no matter how potato? Or did they just deny her an early intervention IEP and she has to wait until Luna is officially school age?

So she was demanding a homebound IEP to get the money that comes with it. She does NOT want Luna sent to a school and has even mentioned being an unschooler.

Luna would have been assessed and probably it was realized that the LRE for her would never be a classroom. Luna wouldn't even be placed in the classrooms I work in and they include ausitic adults who lay on floor stimming while masturbating THEY have more conscience then Luna.

Right, so if home is the LRE, doesn’t that mean the school is obligated to send a teacher to the home as part of her IEP? Or did Robyn think that a homebound IEP meant they’d pay her to “teach”, and when she found out they would just send a teacher and no money, she rejected the homebound services completely?

Just trying to figure out if it’s ever possible for a school to deny a potato an IEP, or if Robyn would have had to actively reject it.

Yes that is exactly what Robyn wanted and she probably stopped approaching things then.

They used to offer in NV $2000 to homeschool parents.

Reading through this entire thread, mostly through highlights mind you, was a terrible way to start the year.

I was so, so sure as I was reading that surely, by the end of the thread, Luna would be gone. Instead, this bitch is cooking herself a new one.

What new and exciting things will Robyn do to horrify us next? I have never been more intrigued and sick to my stomach.

Ah okay thanks for revisiting this for me. I was here for the original IEP sperging but the reappearance of “school” made me confused in the brain grapes about whether she ultimately accepted a home bound IEP.

I looked it up and apparently the $5000 Nevada Homeschool fund was never actually funded, as it was part of a larger effort to siphon public school funds that was halted in court. Even if it had been funded, she would have been required to enroll Luna in public school for 100 days and take standardized tests every year, so this fund was clearly not meant for grifting spud moms.

So yeah, she’s never gonna enroll Luna in school, because that would require an IEP which would cause a severe narc injury. If she truly believed that Luna could benefit from school, she’d get the IEP…but Robyn knows it’s useless if it doesn’t come with any money to spend on Eagle eyes or walkers or helmets or glasses or reduce her Healey debt. Thank god the system actually worked for once and stopped Robyn from draining more resources.

Not if they homeschool, but as far as I know, IEPs are for autists more often than potatoes. I forget the term for the system for "moderate to severe special needs students"
As far as I'm aware, IEPs are usually for "mild special needs" or autists/bipolar/adhd students that can function in a normal classroom with some assistance.

If I remember correctly, the $2000 thing was just a proposal, and it was never actually funded. I could be thinking of a different scheme to offer a payment to homeschool parents, though.

I'm starting to watch Atlas a little and get a bad feeling. He's two. Can't wait for Robyn to prove me wrong that he's developmentally on track and using those great little two word sentences like "'tinky tunk" (stinky skunk) and the generally funny stuff kids say.

But YMMV and she can totz take him to his 2 year checkup and prove the haydurs wrong.

In my experience with little boys, they often don’t start taking off until some time between 2-3. Is Atlas 2 yet? The next year will tell if he’s on track or not.
