Who is the kid in the green jacket? Have we seen them before?[/QUOTE]

@Hat , L'anglais. Once again, Guillaume puts in a character that is smarter than Stephie, but is made the villain. Does Guillaume have a Lex Luthor fetish?

Edit to soon follow. This one is too good not to.

Looks like the girl's gonna get excommunicated. Kinda like what cults do to unbelievers.

Well, isn't the pot calling the kettle black (the pot in this case is Sophie and her cocoon of self-righteousness).

Hello.

Do you know who I am? I'm the real deal. The Quebecois. French, born and raised. Et je vais vous le prouver, drette là maintenant. Dans ce topic. Préparez-vous.

First. I apologize in behalf of all my fellow citizen for Labelle. No words can express the pain I feel when I read you guys. This is our failure as a province. (Amongst other things).

I am so, so sorry. If I could do things over, if I had the power... I would change everything. But I can't. I'm crying right now... I know it's worthless, but I'm sorry... so sorry...

I read this thread every once in a while when I need my daily dose of CRINGE and can't get it from dunning-kruger people at work so I come here.

As you may have guessed or will find out soon enough I'm fucking insane.

I was looking for some place where I could vent about this comic. I usually read it in english.
That comic is pretty fucking bad. Do you guys know Judith Lussier? That girl's fucked up too.
Look her up. JUDITH. LUSSIER. This comic is about as bad as Judith Lussier.

So trans people want to live as the opposite sex. Why isn't she shutting up? Most people don't give a fuck about trans. They don't care. They may just want to not be surprised by Arbok when they expect Cloyster or whatever when they put their hands down your pants. But then you got that kid, Stephie. And Stephie dresses like a girl. But she keeps reminding you she's trans. Maybe if you'd shut up, you'd pass! But that's not what you want, is it, Stephie or should I say, STOPHIE.

And that hormone thing. You know, like, if you take the damn hormones before your teenage years, your body may be closer to your ideal once you're down growing.

And Labelle, Labelle. How the fuck is she so retarded? How the hell she gets invited to talks? Christ. Why doesn't she have any opposition? What the fuck is this. There's Jilian Page who writes for the Gazette and she's pretty quiet and seems relatively sane. Though she allegedly exposes her girl penis on Oka beach or Wreck Beach sometimes. Or so I've read.

My blood pressure's pretty high right now. But I ain't done. You want the real deal with the french you'll get it tenfold.

You guys pretty much got it correctly. Let me just straighten up a few facts.

Like most French born Quebecois, Sophie sucks at English. If you think *I* suck, well too bad, I'm the best you'll ever fucking see so you better wipe those tears of pain.

She translates "humide" which actually means "humid", as "moist". She means like, when you go play outside in the snow, your clothes are wet after but not soaked. Humid, I believe is the correct term in english. But I'm a basement dweller so I don't know. My parents never remove my chain.

"Malade" means sick, but in the sense of a "sick move" that a skateboarder would tell another.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sick+moves

The "Sophie has never been a boy" thing, well, you can't go and translate literally. Literal translations are only good so far. Eventually, you learn a language well enough so you translate the meaning. So that one is fairly decent in conveying meaning. But still shitty when compared to Twilight. "Assignée Garçon" was decent too. Don't look too far into this, the meaning is more important than the literal translation.

NOW this one. "Morinomme".

https://kiwifarms.net/proxy.php?image=https%3A%2F%2Fi.gyazo.com%2F14228235ec8f59244e39623bbbd7673b.png&hash=d71df68dfe4ce9ca12ed15b0855284c3

That's garbage. It comes from "to deadname" using a latin version of "mort" (death) or something as a prefix to "nommer" which means "to name". It's horrible butchery and just reading that makes me want to tear my eyes out with a knife and replace them with javel soaked cotton balls. That's how painful of a butchery of french that portemanteau is.

There's this little thing called "http://www.academie-francaise.fr/" and while Quebecois french is different because of its neighbours (it takes and gives some language quirks from English and our British Overlods, God Saves the Queen Tea's at 4PM) "morinommer" doesn't exist and it shouldn't exist. Everytime I read it I feel like cutting myself a slice of apple pie.

"attiré.e" "gai.e" that's like writing he/she instead of xhe. There's a reason that the masculine is default. That's the Academy Francaise standard. What they say, goes. They would beat Labelle down with dictionaries if she dared to even think about going to tell them her bullshit.

"J'ai le droit" was addressed, it means right, as in "The right to free speech". Right, the direction, is "droite".

"Faque" means so. It's a shortened version of "fait que" which pretty much means "Cela fait que" which means "donc" whichs means "so".

Example:

Two guys are in a gay bar:
Guy1-So, looks like we're playing the same team
Guy2-Nah, I like horse cock
Guy1-Oh snap.

In English:

"Donc, on dirait qu'on joue dans la même équipe"
"Nah, en fait je suce des chevaux"
"Oh shit"

"OMG". It translates to "Oh Mon Dieu" but as good slaves to the British Empire the Quebecois sometimes take expressions and say them in english. Like some weird variants of fuck. Like "Fucké" which means a fucked up individual.

There was one thing I read in this thread and it was something about her using "horrible" or "terrible" in a way that works in french but does not translate like that in english. If you find it bring it up and I will explain.

If there is anything else you want to know about French, you just post here and I will answer.

By the way, her drawing style is somewhat inspired from Gargouille I think:

Gargouille.jpg

A shit comic nobody read because we could get actual quality Bande Dessinées from Belgium.

But now those comics sucks too since the authors let their now-adult kids write them (Smurf, Scrameustache, etc...) or are too senile to keep a story straight (Yoko Tsuno) so now you read Corbeyran (Stryges, Wine) or Leo (Aldebaran) or some other shit that's actually good, and has tits sometimes. Nudity's always good.

Seriously. They should just sue everyone like Hergé's kids so that no one taints their work.

That's the most I've ever laughed at one of these comics, Raquel is like the Lucy Van Pelt of Assigned Male.

Wait a minute, first Stephie and her buddies were embracing the coed concept, and now the girls are happy to separate from the boys?
Were you expecting consistency with this comic? There's like three or four unresolved "plot threads" that seem to have just been dropped.

A more accurate statement is almost every plot is unresolved. There might be three or four plots that were actually finished in the entire history of the comic. Off the top of my head we're still waiting on learning what ever happened to the kid that was kicked out of his parent's house for being trans, Stephie's dad joining a MRA group, the ending to the grandparent's visit, and Stephie's cis-punching bag/bf plot.

Everything in this comic comes second to taking shots at groups and people Sophie hates (everything and everyone) and trying to convince people to shove this shit down some poor kid's throat.

Some of them have ""endings""....They're just REALLY vague.
Like Stephen telling making out with that one girl after fearmongering about how they'd be murdered next by the heterociswhite patriarchy... and just coming home with absolutely no closure after that.
