Sam was 26 not in their mid 30's. This is just Keffals doing a really shitty joke that's been around for awhile. I've heard this joke too many times from multiple different streamers.
Essentially it was so Keffals would have a video to upload to Youtube as they've been slipping the past few days which will effect the algorithm. Keffals seems to be moving towards Youtube content over streaming but their videos are usually under 8 minutes long.
Keffals just did a short stream.
The Kitten was asked about, no longer being bought immediately and is now just "eventually"
Keffals ended the stream because they were sleep deprived and doesn't even know what time they woke up at. Also bought a years subscription to some royalty free sound software whilst "drunk and stoned" which the other week Keffals was saying how contrary to some people's belief he doesn't really drink at all.
Constantly drinking the past couple of days plus the sleep deprivation might be indicative of depression, especially when paired with the impulsive announcement of buying a kitten.
Oh yeah, and Keffals is no longer brushing their hair and is apparently on Week #2 of that. This is a person who mostly uses dry shampoo to clean their hair and only wet shampoos it like once a week IIRC, so that shit is honestly nasty AF.
