Oh hell yeah, what good news to wake up to. I think this is the second or third time we've seen a cow go to prison, but it's still the most satisfying.
I think we should archive this thread and place it with the other Nick Bates threads, simply because there isn't going to be much to discuss for the next 40 years.

This is going to be a little tangential because I'm high, but I remember all these people trying to say Nick couldn't be a child molester irl because it was just too insane that he'd brag about it on the internet, or various other excuses that basically add up to "it bothers me so I don't want it to be true". But I knew it was true from the moment I read those 789chan threads or whatever I got linked to first back in the day. I was just waiting for him to get arrested and marveling at how some people are so sheltered that they can write off people pulling their teeth out on PCP or bragging about raping little kids on AIM as too out there to really be true. I dunno, it just makes me glad the criminal justice system isn't like that. I'm sure the people who deal with Nick in prison have worked with some horrible cases already and have met with his kind of moral sickness before. They'll surely treat him gently.

Phil is an impotent waste of space and I don't think anyone on earth who hasn't spent time with him in person could be bothered to hate him.

I can't spare the energy to hate Nick either, but I hate what he did to AO and I take enormous emotional pleasure in his suffering as a result. At the same time, though, I feel somewhat sorry for him. He was a child once; he was presumably innocent once, too. It makes me wonder what happened to make him this way. It's entirely possible that he could have been sexually abused himself; though this doesn't excuse the fact that he did it, I know from experience that it can fuck your psychological development up pretty hard. If combined with an existing mental disorder and a predisposition to pedophilia, he would end up with an extremely sick man, which he is. Or a thousand other things could have happened. Who knows?

But I don't know Nick's life, since (thank god) I'm not him, and thus I'll never be in a position to have to feel genuine pity or sympathy for him. Thus I will live under the general assumption that Nick has always been a horrible person, because there is no evidence otherwise and it makes me feel better when I laugh at his pain.

This is probably not going to happen. She has a father who at least cares enough about her to report her claim of sexual abuse, but the rest of her family is clearly a very poor support network. It's unlikely that she'll get all the help she needs, since it would cost a lot of money. There's obviously mental illness running through the family line as well, and judging by the images we've seen of her, she hasn't been taken care of very well while growing up. My prediction is that she'll probably have, at the very least, some very serious anger issues, as well as relationship problems and definitely sex-related hangups given the extent of what Nick did to her (we know the horrifying basics, and Saul mentioned that at her deposition she revealed further, even more grotesque acts that he rightly declined to describe to the Farms). The bizarre nature of the abuse, coupled with its incestuous origin, is probably going to make it that much worse for her. I also foresee, as with a lot of abuse victims, drug and/or alcohol abuse in the future, or some other kind of addiction.

tl;dr AO is probably never going to be normal or truly happy, Nick should get baton-fucked and die.

Would not be surprised if he had a collection of child porn they haven't prosecuted him for yet. He even hinted at it in his psychiatric evaluation, which says that he wants to look at it but doesn't know how to find it or something like that. Given how Nick seems to have manipulated a lot of those interviews, this likely means he blurted out that he likes child porn, but then backpedaled and denied he'd ever seen any before, in the dumbest way possible, and the person doing the evaluation just didn't want to go down that rabbit hole so they left it alone.

That feel when you know he's never going to make parole because he's a crazy stupid pedophile who masturbates with poop. It's a surprisingly good feel, somehow, even though there's poop and pedophiles involved. Feels like this seem to happen pretty often with Nick Bate. I'm also debating whether or not to send him a letter once his prison address becomes available. I might send the big tl;dr I wrote earlier, or I might just write him a new one congratulating him on his new relationship with his cellmate. Perhaps I will send him some flowers to give to his new boyfriend.

Perhaps I will send him a calendar of scenic places in Kentucky.

I think we should wait at least a day or two so that everyone can have the time to discuss the news. Although I feel like 99% of it will be "Yes!" which is my response.

Chrissy fought the law and the law won; Shaner's going to jail or is in jail now (I haven't been following him anymore) for trying to make porn of himself masturbating while a train derails in the background; and now Nick is going to jail and I am going to send him a calendar of stuff from Kentucky
