My understanding was initially that generational trauma refereed to the way abuse of an individual can lead to said individual abusing or mistreating their children in the future, creating a cycle of abuse that just keeps going on and on.

But apparently it means that someone was a meanie poo poo head to your great-great-great-great-great-many times great-grandmother and you've somehow psychically inherited her trauma as though it really happened to yourself.

Forgive me, that was pre-COLA back in October. It's actually more. Currently the max food stamp allotment for a single person household is $281. We know that Joh gets SNAP too, but I do not know if they're declaring as a couple (where the max is $516 a month) or if they're fraudulently reporting as individual households to get more. Alabama is also still issuing $95 pandemic supplemental EBT to each household as of January 2023. So they're getting around $600 or more a month between two people if that's the case. And Polissa still claims to be "over budget" every month.



The rainbow multichrome/oil slick color scheme has minor popularity with wine aunts and "geeks." All I can think is that most of that coating is likely to peel off from those cheap items, making them completely useless very quickly if there's just a colored sheet over them.

Oddly, the last time I saw a ton of the rainbow-colored cutlery, it was a trend for a lot of the Instagram anorexics. It goes without saying that Polissa is not one of those. That was probably around 5 years ago. I did get a laugh, because she's listed all the children's cutlery-- another anachan perennial favorite. Generational trauma is a cycle of abuse handed down from grandparents, to parents, to children. And then the cycle continues unless someone is able to recognize it and break it.

I have my own beef with Baptists, but that's certainly not all of Christianity and certainly not all white people. The likes of TikTok have allowed people to put tiny blurbs out into the world, with no context or follow up. More and more people want their information and news in tiny, digestible chunks. I’ve seen so many content creators run with whatever will get them views and interaction, without any sort of depth or real information.

Now that’s the way people are educated. and it passes on to the next sped who summarizes it poorly, and then the next. It’s essentially a retarded game of telephone, but covering topics like religion, history, and other topics that require critical thinking and context that just isn’t there.
