EDIT: Surprising fucking no one. He never top 8'ed ever again at real EVO. If he ever even went. I know he talked about going into massive debt to go in '05. And it was all the way across the country for him. So I'm not sure if he ever even bothered going all the way back.

And yeah EVO East winning ain't bad. But, like in case you don't know. Winning these things almost isn't even skill. Like just about everyone there is pretty equal footing. Its half luck and half stamina, and half knowing your shit. The last two are kinda the same. Because its a whole ass weekend of playing the same game or two. Its one thing to win EVO east, because your gonna run into the cream of the crop way less likely and you have way fewer rounds.

Which is the real reason 05 has an asterisk. Because it had way less participants this time. So, really, luck was on his side. Fewer rounds, fewer top of the packs in the pool. He learned enough to leave it to luck, and just never got filtered
