$150, per the website. Also, is that a silver sharpie he's signing them with? Because you can literally wipe those off with your finger with very little effort.
I'd hope at least a paint-pen; but I haven't seen Sinistral arguing with anyone making the same observation, so it's probably a sharpie.

There's no probably about it, it is a silver sharpie. Only the best for KE Arms customers, right @SinistralRifleman.

How much are they overcharging for these paperweights?

I remember like 10-12 years ago Classic Arms had a giant inventory of Kimel AP-9 polymer frames for $14.95 each. 10 actual functional pistol frames that you could theoretically build guns on, vs. a paperweight with an e-celeb signature on them, for the same price. Really makes you think.

As far as "patent limbo" goes, the bankruptcy was Chapter 7, so all assets were sold to pay debts. Somebody out there has the H9 patent. I doubt they'll do anything with it.

Can't wait to see these on Gunjoker and TacSwap for $500.
There is a reason I buy my Gat's in store, supports a buisness I like and not some scalper fuck.

On Copper Impact rounds, here's a video from Field and Stream on the 125 grain 6.5 Creedmoor load. Not my 300 win mag I was looking for but it works. Seems to have deep penetration but only ok expansion.

TacSwap is actually really awesome and those guys deserve more support, you just see stupid shit on there sometimes.

That’s usually the case with copper bullets. For comparison 6.5 creedmoor 129gr Core Lokt tipped that F&S shot had about .100” more expansion, 10” less penetration, and lost about 30% of its weight. It’s a trade off depending on what you plan to do. If you want long range performance that will still knock down a moose at 500yds then copper impact is your friend. If you are hunting east of the Mississippi where the animals are at most 200lb you are probably fine with Soft Point bullets.

Daniel Defense has the H9 patent and actually did send out surveys to gauge interest in a product line, they have Steel, Aluminum, and Polymer frame options I believe, in multiple sizes, a compact, full size and longslide I think. Notably, the dust cover wasn't sunk as low as on the production H9s, so maybe they said fuck it to the setup that was on there, or just figured out a less retarded way to do it. Also, shamefully I must admit I bought an H9. LGS had it for fairly cheap and I figured what the hell, I can probably sell it to some dipshit for more than I paid for it based on Ian and Kucksarda hyping it. It's a nice gun, probably not worth whatever they were asking MSRP, but it's nice.

What exactly was it that was supposed to make the H9 so amazing and groundbreaking? A slim grip and a low bore axis?
Low bore axis, thats it.
It wasn't even really that low, they just choked up on the grip (which itself is long as hell); sorta like the Steyr M9, Cz-75, etc.

Edit: when I think about a true low-bore axis, only stuff like the Mateba, Chiappa Rhino, Laugo Alien, and that one WW1-era Austrian pistol (the name escapes me atm) come to mind; everything else is just trying to squash the hand & trigger as far upward as possible, and the H9 is the purest example of that.

Anecdotal: I tested an H9 and Cz-75 Shadow together before the Hudson hypetrain left the station with all guntubers on board; and to my hands the difference was barely discernable. Then I promptly went home & shot my Steyr, before my hands & wrists forgot the feeling (with the same ammo), and I recognized the hypetrain for what it was, which in the end saved me a grip of money & time. Sure, it was a really nice pistol, but the benefit & risks didn't outweigh the cost.

I thought about publishing a video/review about my observations; but it would'be been like pissing in a wind blowing the wrong direction, especially after seeing the instant reeee'ing that happened whenever someone dared impugne the blessed H9's next-big-thingedness.

But at least it would've been fairly impartial, since I had no clue about the Hudson H9's existence or experience with the Cz-75 until that day, and wasn't considering buying either.

It was still an interesting ride though, going from "shut up & take my money" based on first look; to "I'd take either ", after shooting with them; and finally "fuck I'm glad I don't want one", by the end of my day.
