I remember reference to the kids staying in "dorms". At first I thought it was some kind of college-themed trip, because in the US "dormitory" refers to housing on university campuses.
But then I realized it doesn't necessarily mean that in other Anglophone countries and the fact they're out in the woods means it's something else entirely.
So what exactly is the point if this trip? It's school funded so it must have some purpose. Is it science camp? Is that why they're out in the woods? We've met one adult and all he did was make the kids do some touchy feely friendship exercise. Which Stephie and Sandrat flat out ignored to feed their egos.
Also I wonder if this means Frank is actually gay, or if he's so indoctrinated he kissed another boy just because he doesn't want to be problematic.

Seems like the annual camping trip the 6th grade class at my old middle school went on.
No tents, nothing even remotely unsafe, not even a fire, and there were lots of parent chaperones and gender segregated cabins/dorms that were probably nicer than my house with a parent of the proper gender assigned to each. The only activities they did could have been done in a classroom. I think they maybe went on a few hikes though.

I can't get over the awkward poses in the kissing panel. It just screams "See, *someone* actually wants to kiss Stephie! Look at this! WATCH IT HAPPEN." As a result, Stephie looks like she's twisting away from Frank the Trannychaser.
I don't think tranny stuff was the point of those camps though. Billie's apocryphal stories imply he just shoehorned the tranny politics and developmental coaching into it, as he's wont to do.

Why did Stephanie and that token minority guy even kiss in the newest comic? It was so incredibly spontaneous and unnatural. There was literally no build up to it what so ever. It almost felt like the entire comic was made solely to show off that, yes, Stephie is still desirable even though she has a girlschlong.

Sophie, if you're reading this, you pretty much made a strip in which the inevitable happens. We all saw this moment coming a mile off because it was so damn obvious. Your Mary Sue finally gets one of the many guys who have fawned over her. No build up to it, no conflict, no animosity between them, just Stephie telling everyone how fucking RIGHT and PERFECT she is and a guy wanting to jump her because of it. Seriously, she literally has no flaws (her arrogance isn't even a flaw here like it would be in any other comic, instead it's presented as some sort of badge of honour because it shows how "powerful" she is).
A lot of us do not hate you, Labelle, so get that idea out of your head. Hate is a very, very strong word and something that should be used liberally.

How is a comic centered around Frank telling Stephie she's a cute girl (especially after making a big thing about her being tra.ns) not about gender? Most people would interpret that as a significant moment concerning gender for Stephie, a boy calling her a girl and expressing attraction. Also posting on Facebook that you "finally" made a comic not about gender issues shows that we were right and you know it.
Frank being Stephie's "secret friend" is the most boring turn of events possible. Stephie bragging about an unseen good deed for her "secret friend" shows how self-centered she is and how lazy Sophie is at writing and drawing this comic in the first place. Once again Labelle totally misses any opportunity to make this comic interesting or amusing.
But anyway in my experience the NHS is pretty good, bias varies from doctor to doctor (The biggest thing for a lot of people is how likely they are to give our prescriptions/antibiotic type medication).
