Wearing a silicone ring in place of an actual one is not that uncommon, especially with men that do physical work. Obviously, that doesn't apply to Nick who has probably never done a hard days work in his life, but nevertheless, it's not uncommon. I wear one because of the work I do, and because titanium rings are not resizable.
