Customer says McDonald’s kicked him out of store 30 minutes after he purchased food - Another Maga Country Moment

A McDonald's customer claims he was kicked out of the restaurant 30 minutes after getting his food when staff called the police.
You can watch the extremely awkward situation unfold below:

TikToker Jensen Harris (@jensenaharris) went viral on the popular video-sharing platform after posting a clip of him getting into a verbal altercation with the McDonald’s staff at a Providence, Rhode Island location. In the video, Jensen demands to know why the store has a 30-minute policy for guests that state they must leave the premises after a certain amount of time, even if they are paying customers.

Jensen claims that the chain has no such policy in place and believes he was racially discriminated against by the McDonald’s employees.

“That’s not the policy of McDonald’s,” he states as the video then cuts to screen-shared footage of a smartphone web page on the McDonald’s website, scouring for any mention of a time limit that dine-in guests have at a location. He then posts a series of text overlays, paired with a voice filter that states the restaurant doesn’t make it clear whether or not there is a 30-minute dine-in policy or if there ever was one to begin with.

The video then cuts back to another employee approaching Jensen from behind the counter. She points to the camera and tells him that he needs to delete the video. He responds that he won’t. “I’m not deleting that…don’t make me have to call up anybody for that,” he says. “That’s not right. That’s not right.”

The McDonald’s employee is on the phone with someone as Jensen continues to record. After she begins speaking into the receiver, it becomes evident that the call is about Jensen’s behavior inside of the restaurant.

He then turns the camera around, “I’m at McDonald’s right now, I already paid for my meal now they’re telling me I have to leave the McDonald’s because I’ve been here for more than 30 minutes. I’ve never seen this…”

He continues to walk around and film the interior of the restaurant. “I don’t think they should be doing this,” he says before pointing out the manager and zooming in on them with his smartphone camera. “All I’m doing is waiting, charging my phone, I’m waiting on people because I have people that actually I’m meeting for family—let’s see what happens today. Let’s see what happens. Let’s see what type of incident we get—let’s see what lawsuit we have, and I will call my attorney.”

The video then cuts to a clip of McDonald’s employees ignoring Jensen. In the text overlay, the TikToker claims that the workers refuse to provide him with the name of their manager.

Jensen then films various police officers standing outside the McDonald’s location. “4 cop cars and 5 cops later they asked me to leave and to stop recording,” he wrote in the text overlay. “McDonald’s policy clearly does not state anything regarding their so called ’30 minute policy’ nor does it state getting the police involved.”

The Daily Dot has reached out to the McDonald’s location via phone and Jensen via TikTok comment for further information.

Jensen’s video has received over 455,000 views on the platform as of Wednesday.

One viewer shared their incredulity at the “30-minute policy” at the specific location in the comments. “So they set a timer EVERYTIME someone sits down to eat,” they said.

I'd go into McDonald's almost every morning for a hash brown and coffee, and the place always had groups senior citizens drinking coffee that hung out there hours at a time. There's no way in hell the 30 minutes thing an actual policy.
Yes it absolutely fucking is.
In my city, there's a McDick's downtown. Connected to the Circle Jerk K. For more than TEN YEARS that McDick's has had a 30 minute policy. Wanna know why?

* No less than TWO dead bodies (that I read about in the paper) in the bathroom
* The winos
* Heroin
* Scaring customers to get mo money fo dem heroins programs.

There are even signs on the door and in the dining room.

McDonald's is racist. Here's my receipt as proof.

I can't speak for the US but it definitely is a stated policy in the mcdonalds in canada that i've been in since at least 2019. Whether they actually enforce it or not I don't know, the only times i'm there that long is if the place is busy as fuck and I have to wait forever to get my food

All this talk of "punching up" from the usual suspects, it makes me wonder what flipping burgers is "up" from.
Bumming for change on the sidewalk most likely. Either that or paid volunteer for experimental medication

I don't know shit about the East Coast; but some places do have time limits, and it's usually something they enforce because there are busy times where they can be completely swamped, and they need to keep customers rotating out.
Most of the time limits are related to parking spaces. The closer you are to the city, the more that shit is enforced. I saw a car get towed out of a PC Richards parking lot one night in Long Island City (Queens NY) because it was there for longer than it was supposed to be. It also doesn't help that sometimes the places that get packed/busy are also the same places that have small parking lots as well. God help you if you have to go to a hospital with a small parking lot... at that point you're fucked to where you'll have to park 3 or more streets down and hike it to the place on foot, and even then the neighbors around that area will probably hate you for it.

The Maccas close to my home has a sign that tells customers that may be asked to leave if they loiter around for more than 20 minutes. Every time I go in there's at least a hobo in there, so I don't blame them. It's not even the worst part of the city.

I wouldn't be surprised if the manager gets fired for this, even if they were absolutely in the right. Reminds me of the Chipotle manager who got shitcanned for refusing to hand food to a repeat dine and dasher (who bragged about that shit on Twitter) until he paid. He went to the media and said it was because of muh racism, even though the media could have absolutely done research and find out he consistently bragged about stealing food.
Shit, this whole thing reminded me about how my brother and our friends used to hang out at Burger King at night on the weekends, and once we got told there was a limit. We weren't being particularly obnoxious, just loud retarded teenagers, but . Instead of bitching about it on social media, we just... left. This retard decided to take it upon himself to cause a scene after he was asked to leave, and got trespassed.

In high-school I used to work at McDonald's and there was a black man who would bring a monitor and desktop and would be at his computer starting at 3pm to when the lobby would close. He would buy a meal and then drink sodas the rest of the time. He never bothered anyone so we let him stay. That is until he came in dressed as a woman and demanded to use the woman's restroom and we asked him to leave and he never came back. This was over 10 years ago, so we could still get away with things like that.

Here's the other videos from the Tiktok of the incident, The narration is a bit annoying.

Do these niggers not know what a fucking franchise is? They're not all under the same person nor are the policies the same at every location, astounding. "DEY BE RACIST!" Yes, so racist with all the minorities working there and the non-nigger black at the counter being served while not acting like a chimp. Especially appreciate "the officer is told they're not wearing badges and still told us to leave!", no shit.

The called the cops on you because you saw the sign, freaked out like a nigger, made a scene, and then refused to leave. Try behaving like a civilized person next time, but that doesn't get views does it?
Is this text to speech? Microsoft Samandra?
I was wondering the same thing, intonation is very weird but it is a sheboon.

I don't eat at McDonalds, but what is so hard about getting your shit, eating it, and getting out?
Nothing, but this is a guy, probably homeless, who feels he has the right to sit in a private business as long as he wants, doing whatever he wants. Mooninite Rules:

This is how society works now, especially for blacks and troons.

My brother used to live in Providence.
He went to McDs for a 3 A.M. snack one day , back before Covid killed 24 hour service.
In between the doors there was a naked black man shitting him self.
In spite it being the middle of winter he was warm enough he was steaming.
I wonder if it was the same McDs?

My brother also witnessed some one trying to cook crack in the microwave at the 7- 11 in Providence.

jewish franchise owners defending those fountain drink stations with their (staff's) lives. Must not let niggers get free drinks or refills, every penny from every drop of syrup counts!

I got fired from a Subway years ago for turning off the lights 30 minutes after close time when there was a customer in the lobby. He had been there for an hour charging his phone. Like, it doesn't take an hour to eat a six inch sandwich, get the fuck out. You aren't even eating, you are just charging your phone and using the wi-fi.

You were trapped in a Catch-22, you'd have been fired for trying to milk out more hours of pay/overtime to stay open for one bum you should've kicked out. Damned either way!

I have no idea what went on here, don't give a shit, but I'll defend spending time in fast food restaurants: It beats the break room at work during meal breaks. Maybe you have a fancy lux cafeteria at work and no co-workers you would rather avoid having to make small talk with, but not all of us are so lucky. Fast food places are at least generically inoffensive - that's sort of their business model - and everyone leaves you the fuck alone and lets you read a book in peace while you chase the last three fries around your tray.

Then again I don't live in a shitty ass ultra-liberal urban cesspool containment city, so the worst you generally get is welfare moms with a herd of children.

As long as you avoid Taco Bell or KFC. Those are the ones to avoid around here. The McDonalds are usually okay.

The real prime loitering fast food joint is Arbys, though. Nobody ever goes there anyways. I seriously don't know what keeps them open, I can spend an entire break there and never see anyone except the guy who takes my order.

The local McDonalds here doesn't really care if you spend more then 30 minutes here, as long as you're not causing issues. Then again, this is a nice neighborhood and most of the people that do spend it are families with younger kids or the senior citizens there for their coffee club.

People really don't care if you break petty rules if your not causing issues; 15 items in the "12 items or less"? Whatever. Chilling in your car in a parking lot? Park in the back away from everyone.

It's when you start taking advantage of things or are easily noticeable is when people start to get angry. Chris Chan often did this at places, ignoring the obvious issue of the "Attraction signs", he would literally sit there for hours upon hours taking gross advantage of the refill policies at places and staring at women.
