Yeah, Anime fans have been bootlegging since the 90s. Like buying VHS where they tell you to turn on CC to get subtitles. It was here before it went official (I actually knkw a guy who works as a localized that started doing bootleg anime he would sell). It's too built into the culture
Yeah. I used to have a CR subscription thinking they would actually help out the industry but instead they just use to to make their cheap Tumblr Cartoons. That's not what people paid for. As other have said, if you like a show or manga then buy the merchandise. I bought the Boochi CD and that's the first CD I've bought since the Offspring releases their 2012 album.
That's because there is little crime going there besides dealing with the Yakuza, who mostly just kill each other and people who owe them money. Like I know one of the One Piece Scanners got caught and did some hard time
They rented out a San Francisco office with a fountain for nonreason. The rent there is expensive. That's money better used in Los Angeles where it does make sense to have an office
So far, enjoying Tomo-chan. Enjoyed hearing the VA for Carol and its the same woman that Voiced the weeb from Boochi. She's an American and voices both the JP and EN role, which I'm not sure if it's a first (excluding things like Pikachu).
