You may be slightly underestimating here, there'd likely to be 20-25. But I'm not sure if it's a flat 10 characters per server, or if it's a max connection of 10 at a time. If it's the latter, I'm sure not everyone's in the same time zone.

Still looking into which game to get up and running. One that I haven't seen mentioned is The Forest. I have to look into which games are the most and least demanding on a computer because I am not operating a power house CPU.

That is a game that actually isn't very demanding! How many people can be on at once? I was thinking The Forest if the server can handle it because we can have up to 16 people playing at the same time.

I'll look into Rust, I have it but I've actually never played. I will check today to see how demanding of a game it is.

course, storage requirement might increase due to the game having a workshop page.

and gpu too since too many buildings will cause fps dips, it's like that for minecraft, why wouldn't it be for it's clones? unless they are 2d and even then...

also making a whitelist system for terraria seems like a huge pain in the ass. however changing the password/ip and giving it out to kiwis that ask can be a thing.
