DSP is officially the king of posting unintentionally hilarious and humiliating videos. Nobody I've seen is better at it than he is.

I felt a lot of second hand embarrassment rewatching it from start to finish again. You could hear it in his voice when he realizes it's too late: the facecam was on the entire time and there is virtually nothing he can do about it. Hopefully, this will officially mark the end of his let's play career. Maybe he might even get off his ass and find a real job that pays decent money. But that's looking on the bright side of things, you know? The way I see it, this ain't going to dent him much if he's that fucking dense. This made me feel sorry for him rather than laughing, not for the fact he cant last long, not for the fact he killed his already dead career.
But his face it tells a story
It tells that he knows his career is fucked, and he's fucked after this year.
His "oh shit" face when he realized that he just streamed himself jacking off was priceless, but I don't think it'll end his career just yet. He'll milk this YouTube gig of every penny he can get before actually getting a job. His ride never ends.I felt a lot of second hand embarrassment rewatching it from start to finish again. Ah, well. I need to brush up on DSP then.
Basically, a guy by the name of ChrisFurtado built him a computer, which was extremely powerful for the time, for the low price of $1,200, and also included a metric ton of useful and otherwise expensive software to boot. Later, when he was attempting to figure out how to use a capture card, Chris appeared in his stream and attempted to help. Phil responded by ignoring his advice, insulting him, and talking about how the computer Chris built him was "a lemon" while grossly inflating the price to $3,000.You're fine. The thread's pretty large, so I expect bits and pieces of info to slip through the cracks.
It's like...you hear a lot about the '3K lemon', his current computer that can't run RAGE. What you never hear about anymore is the computer that was sent to him before that by a fan. It was about $1,700 or so, but sent to him for free. However, it had a chip in the case or somesuch other sort of cosmetic damage, so he considered it bricked and bought the lemon we all know and love.
If I remember correctly, the same fan who built the computer also helped build his original site, also for free.
There used to be videos detailing all of this, but I'm having trouble finding them at current. Will update the post later if I find them.
Also - there are frames in the fap video where you can see that he wasn't wearing pants. This leads me to believe that he tends to stream without his pants on, and that any time he takes a break, he's pulling a DickStrokePhil.

IIRC, Phil began to stream at 60fps, 1080p and a mod dropped by his stream to tell him to knock it off. Phil was taking up way too much of Twitch's space or something. At that stage, Phil was in the middle of his "quality khantent" phase and shit talked the mod, before quitting Twitch to go to YouTube. He doesn't have Twitch anymore. That was closed a long time ago - though I'm personally not sure what the truth is. Either Phil quit using Twitch after a disagreement with a mod, or Leanna got into a fight with a mod and got his account closed.

He's so fucked that he fucked himself on his fucked stream just to to double fuck himself. That dumb fuck.
In seriousness though, I don't think this will get him booted from twitch, or his sponsorship canned. Man vs Game admitted to being an amphetamine addict last year and there have been a handfull of other twitch streamers who have blown their load on cam but suffered nothing major from it.
But I do agree that his twitch career is dead though. He's already seen as a joke by the twitch & yt world at large and this will make it permanent. If he was competent he could spin this, but lol.
I wonder if he is even mentally capable of holding down a job at this point?
Some inconsistencies there:
A fan (Chris Furtado) offered to build Phil a super rig. They talked it out and Phil paid him about $1200. Chris went the extra mile and threw in some freebie software like Sony Vegas, some other software suite and Amnesia. Phil recorded an unboxing of the PC and noted the chip in the case and didn't seem worried about it. Later, Phil couldn't figure out how to Stream and blamed Chris for everything and trash talked him repeatedly in vlogs. In each vlog Phil said he paid Christ at least 2 grand but refused to show any kind of receipt while Chris did have have the receipt.
His computer uses a GTX 460, not a 780ti.The first PC was built for him but he had to pay for the parts (calculated at cost, I assume). So it was kind of a deal if you are computer illiterate.
The second couldn't run Rage at 1080p 60fps while capturing AND streaming so he called it a piece of shit and quit playing PC games. It was a decent PC with a sweet GFX Card (780ti methinks), even though it was overpriced.
His computer uses a GTX 460, not a 780ti.
He could stream Rage at max settings and not even use a third of the 780ti's horse power, if that was the case.
It had 6GB of VRAM, whatever it was. And yeah the issue was CPU load cuz he put his expensive af gpu into a budget mobo with the cheapest i7 available.I can't look up social media stuff at work but I'm pretty sure the CPU load was the problem, not the GPU.
And no, it was a top-of-the-line GFX card and not a relic from 2010.
-edit for spelling
Phil is trying to milk (HA!) this whole situation to his benefit and now it's becoming pathetic. He's even trying to become buddy buddy with AlphaOmegaSin after throwing a bitchfit about him a month ago.
