This cements Phil's legacy, if you ask me. He's not known for being funny or a good gamer. He's known for being a joke and clown. A few years from now, someone will talk about Phil and the person they're talking to will go "Oh, you mean the idiot that jerked off during a stream that one time." That's what he'll be known for now.

I felt a lot of second hand embarrassment rewatching it from start to finish again. You could hear it in his voice when he realizes it's too late: the facecam was on the entire time and there is virtually nothing he can do about it. Hopefully, this will officially mark the end of his let's play career. Maybe he might even get off his ass and find a real job that pays decent money. But that's looking on the bright side of things, you know? The way I see it, this ain't going to dent him much if he's that fucking dense.

Who wants to take betting odds he keeps his Patreon up, if possible, to wring every last penny he can from it even after he is finally forced to find another job? That is assuming his career doesn't end in a more dramatic fashion. Start your wagers.

Getting caught masturbating is one thing, I think if that was all that happened we'd have already moved on. But it wasn't just the fact that he was masturbating. It was that horribly tragic, beaten, despair riddled face of his that makes this the story it is. I've never seen a face that was that pitiable. He looked like he was watching his favorite pet get run over by a steamroller and there was nothing he could do to stop it. And it was his O face. I sincerely hope this is as pathetic as he can get for his sake.

It reminded me of that scene in "American Beauty" near the beginning.

Kevin Spacey is in the shower tugging it. He's giving a voiceover saying that this pathetic scene is the best part of his day, that five minutes he gets to himself that he can squeeze one out in the shower. That is how much his life sucks and how bad the rest of the day is.

Looking at how... uninterested DipShitPhil was in the whole thing made it feel mechanical and empty. I'd almost feel bad for him if it wasn't for the whole fact that he's DSP so instead I just laugh.
