Aella Martin is a nerd, self-proclaimed libertarian and rationalist, whose biggest claim to notoriety is being a sex worker and top-grossing (former) OnlyFans star.

So how did such a person end up this way? If you haven't guessed already, just like other great rationalist legends like Eliezer Yudkowsky, she grew up religious until she deconverted.Aella Martin is none other than Rachael Slick, the daughter of Matthew Slick, who is the founder and president of CARM, the Christian apologetics ministry.
In 2013, she got her story published on atheist and religious blogs alike, the first place being The Friendly Atheist. It details how she was born in 1992, and at the age of 12 she moved with her parents to Idaho, where her father made CARM his full-time career. Then describes how she lost her faith.

Like all cows, Rachael is prone to deleting things. After she published her EA post (which incidentally also defends against various allegations of Aella throwing orgy parties where people get raped), someone by the name of @tallinfaulkner, claimed to be a friend of a friend of her family, DMed me personally to take down the thread for 5K USD.
At around the same time, farmers in this thread and on lolcow.farm found her escort advertisement on Tryst, which she unceremoniously deleted a few days later.

Rachael Slick is an exceptional individual with no filter on what she says, thinks or does. She profits off of porn and earnestly advocates for more porn no matter what.
