Like with the clickbait it's a valid strategy but LTT does it badly. The idea is to have two sets of thumbnails and matching title so that when the video is served by the algorithm you get two tries at getting someone to click.

If you recall from earlier in the thread...

What LTT do with their title switch most of the time is go from the top right hand corner to the bottom left hand corner. It goes from bad to a different flavour of bad.
