There hasn't been anything (to my knowledge) to link Joel to zoophilia, only zoosadism. His criminal records say he killed a dog in 1999 - we haven't seen any evidence of bestiality, unlike Chaser.

Just so I understand the distinction:
Chaser is a zoophile, someone who likes to fuck or be fucked by animals. And although there is an element of doubt, Chaser is alleged to be Joel David Thomas who is a Zoosadist, someone who tortures and abuses animals.
