It is kind of crazy how much they get caught in lies and yet people still believe them. When the war ends, actual military historians (not Jewtube fags) are going to have a field day.
Capturing a bunch of equipment doesnt mean a net increase in equipment, since you lose equipment from fighting. From the most realiable source we can use ( geolocated and photo confirmed ) we can see that Ukraine might have a slight increase in tanks, a slight loss or no difference in IFV/APCs since the start of the war ( Ukraine has lost ALOT of BMP-1s )
Statistics can be very misleading, but something that is very very obvious is that the Russian advantage in tanks has drastically reduced. Something from 5-6x the Ukrainians ( active service numbers ) to about 2x-2,5x. And as Russia has limited means of procuring new ones ( And alot of their reserves have been rotting in open air storage for years ), this number probably wont change that much
Things arent black and white, they are relative and needs some analysis to make sense of. Its not cognitive dissonance. Also, most of these are atleast 30-40 years old. Ukraine probably has a good reserve of heavy equipment to use in an offensive, but its old and a mix of different stuff, not cohesive. Losses would probably be large and difficult to regenerate, then the reserve would be minimal and they would be almost out of heavy equipment.
Lots of ppl say that Ukraine asking for more equipment is a sign of massive losses, but its more that they want more modern equipment to be more effective in an offensive, while still being able to maintain a reserve for local counter-offensives.
If you were a leader of smaller nation under attack, would you get to a point where you said " Well, i guess thats enough. We have enough to last a few months and to grind ourselves down to a pulp for months without achieving anything meaningful, i know you have stuff to give but we dont need it, dont worry ". Zelenskys main mission is to gain economical and military support from other nations, he's a symbol. I completely understand that ppl sees him as a beggar, but its just the thing a leader of a much more inferior nation at war should do when trying to win a war against a superior power.
