OMG, there's so much reading in grad school? Ya don't say!! It's almost like you're supposed to formulate your own thoughts and theories and motivate yourself to do your studies rather than rely on instructors forcing you to do so through homework and quizzes! Wowzers!!

What a putz.

Meanwhile the classes at this level ARE nice. The instructors respect you, the academic patterns and so engrained it's automatic, and the classes are more discussion and practical application. But usually classes are just the first year or so, then the less structured hell begins. This isn't a traditional STEM degree though, so maybe she will just be perpetual classes?

I crawled through a doctoral program in science only with the aid of what she'd call "uneducated lessers" , fuck her arrogance all around. If you think a degree makes you superior to anyone else, especially hard working blue collar people, you are scum. People who have the sense to leave with a masters made up the smartest people I have ever met as well. Arrogance like hers makes me ill. I find degree elitism one of the most absurd behaviors in academia.

BUT it does amuse me that people with PhDs probably make her superficial ass RAGE with envy, so in that spirit and JUST for her: try harder Splotch. Aw, the little idiot struggling with a masters! Poor baby couldn't get on the doctoral tract. Bless your heart.

Hate crime... Do they realize that "crime" needs to be involved? Shouting a word at someone is not a crime, it's just mean. You can't just call behavior you don't enjoy a crime.

They giveaway delusion and lies again, it's such a shock to have their fictional victim complex fed. I'm sure they've been screeching for years about harassment, but now it's panting excitement because "oh my god it's really happened now!". It's possible the glee is some kind of terminally"quirky edgy teen" cope strategy, but it's bizarre either way.
