He really said Oblivion is outdated? This is why you can't take Phil's gaming opinions seriously. I remember back in the day when it came out, it was hard to run it on PC because the average house hold PC couldn't keep up with it's demand.
Really, the only thing "outdated" is the voice acting for the most part, it's low budget, and the AI is a known joke at this point but otherwise a very solid game even now.

Plus the UI was not properly converted to the Pc port as far as i remember. Also some translations were just uhm let's say creative (other then English that is). I think the Elder Scroll games are best played on Pc due to the strong modding support. But never ever let Phil play this on Pc I bet he would fry his PC when he tries to install mods

Hey does anyone know if Phil will be playing that new Forspoken game? It feels like he's been avoiding more and more games lately because alottapeeple say they'll be bad.

I think it goes without being said but would like to re-emphasize it regardless cause it seems more occurring than ever. DSP takes forever to finish games. Let's players and Trophy and Achievement hunters and the select few that get games early, have entire Walkthroughs up a week to days early by the time DSP gets around to playing or finishing said game. That hurts his views

Just to be clear on what Phil's trying to say is:

• he used to make a certain amount of money from Patreon
• he had a lot of supporters at lower tiers so they didn't get anything other than maybe a shout out back when he was on twitch (I don't remember him ever doing this other than reminding people that Patreon support was an option a day or two before payday)
• Patreon money has since dwindled
• more supporters have come on board but at higher tiers
• so now he actually has to do stuff for them

I'm just trying to ascertain what his actual complaint here is. So before he'd get ~$300 a month from Patreon for nothing, but now he gets ~$300 a month from Patreon and has to do some stuff and since that's twice what he'd make from a night stream he just takes a night stream off once a month.

It makes sense but goddamn, does he make it sound like he's worse off because of it.
Net revenue wise I guess he is a bit worse off but it's one night stream a month. If he would have hit the tips goal on each of these night streams he took off he'd only be down $1800 on the year.
