Mela M and Matthewhf are two of the most well-known members of the Foodists and Clay Eaters. Before those two groups were created, there was an obscure trolling group known as MattGang. Little is known about this proto-group, but it shared similarities to how Foodists operate today by using YouTube to provoke various content creators. One of the channels used by MattGang was Howell High School. That channel was used to make fun of Countryhumans animators such as Moony and Flor1daa.

A fairly late reply, but the topic you raise here is almost always a pertinent one in this sphere, especially as the forum grows more and more well-known to the average Internet user: what should the preferred "operating procedure" for following lolcows be? Why do the Farms frown so heavily on interacting with the cows? Are lolcows not intended to be milked? Why do so many kiwis hold such seemingly dispositional hostility towards Discord and other, similar messaging apps? This post is not aimed at convincing any Foodists to "change their ways" or whatever, but it is at least aimed at making a compelling case for why all of these are not just informal site policy, but why many users genuinely feel the way they do about these questions.

For many older users, their stances were first solidified for them due to the many happenings of the Chris Chan sphere, with people like Anthony Logatto, the Idea Guys, and Isabella Loretta Janke more than demonstrating the pattern of attention-whores trying to farm personal clout off of messing with cows being massive lolcows themselves, ones that, ultimately, just ruin the fun of following the cow in the first place by being annoying, self-obsessed, and unfunny. Just try and sit through Anthony Logatto's painful stand-up routine about Chris Chan, or read through Isabella Janke's Discord logs about her literal foot fungus and cat-piss-filled shower, or listen to any of the hundreds of weens' / failtrolls' unoriginal prank calls to Chris's house without cringing or thinking to yourself "god, these people think they're cool?"

Additionally, Isabella Janke originally intended on using the incest call to push Chris into fucking kill himself - morality aside, this isn't "milking the cow for lols", this is slaughtering the cow because you want a crumb of niche e-fame among CWCki autists and Kiwi Farms users. There comes a time where a person stops being a genius mastermind troll and is just a fucking degenerate stain on society, and speaking from experience, 99 times out of 100, the latter is overwhelmingly the case over the former.

Now, the Chris sphere is what most kiwis will point to as a cautionary tale for why poking the cow is discouraged, but as much as it pains me to say it, being personally involved with a cow (and even using Discord to do so!) is not necessarily a death knell for a cow producing entertaining content. Most kiwis' inherent, near-violent dislike of Discord is tied in with the above-discussed dislike of "weening", but the relationship between the two isn't exactly 1-to-1 as some on the site would have you believe:

Look no further than Louis Finley / Mogar, easily an A-Tier lolcow that doesn't even have a thread here, and is pretty much exclusively chronicled by a small group of people on his own Discord server. Now obviously, no lolcow's story is ever really complete, so this is subject to change, but as it looks now, the people around Mogar don't push him to do weird shit, they don't try and implant weird ideas in his head, they don't try and fuck with him - they just hang around, enjoy the funny shit that Mogar does, talk him down from doing anything extreme like attacking his parents, and are pretty much fine. The only reason we know about Mogar is through Porsalin's documentary trilogy about him (1) (2) (3), and in my opinion, Louis and his parents are very lucky that the people who enjoy and help spread Mogar content don't fall into the common pattern of Discord lolcow farming, because while the Discord-weening relationship isn't 1-to-1, it very much does more often than not correlate due to the sheer prevelance of bad actors.

For instance, let's look at MaximilianMus, a person whose community has had crossover with the Homophobe Army in the past. Max was interested in the antics of JMAA, and instead of refraining from getting personally involved with him, manipulated him into eating his own shit. Sure, this instance specifically isn't not funny - JMAA is completely insufferable, in my personal opinion - but on top of this, Max was an "ironic pedophile" who allowed for the ironic posting of ironic child porn links in his Discord server. You know, ironically.

Or how about the Council of Evil in the Ralph board? Headed by DJ Axle, the group makes inflammatory troll videos for "the Sektur" in a manner not entirely dissimilar from the Foodists. However, they weren't content with doing just that either, and also began seeking out mentally ill people and potential lolcows to involve themselves with and invite to their Discord server(s). Aladrian, a retard who they totally didn't manipulate into eating his own shit and subsequently neglecting to take his medication for liver failure following his hospital visit, died. Axle has also reportedly attempted to groom a mentally ill minor into transitioning. Axle has also been recorded talking with Pamperchu, a much more infamous lolcow and pedophile, about all sorts of things, like eating diapers, luring, drugging, and raping children, and selling CP. And if it wasn't clear, Axle is also an "ironic pedophile".

Or how about Meowbah, the notorious PNGTuber troll that was even mentioned earlier in this thread? Meowbah got big off of making PNGTuber parody videos that were uncharacteristically offensive for the genre in order to piss off TikTok and Twitter zoomers (also not unlike what the Foodists might do). However, she would not seek out random lolcows to drag into her Discord and manipulate into doing fucked up shit - instead, she would manipulate minors into cutting her name into their arms while they worshipped her, and also defended minors who were selling their nudes to people in DMs.

Or how about Milady Maker, an NFT project headed by (and their community largely populated by) various people on esoteric-right-wing Twitter? The people behind the group were credibly accused of running an unironic Discord cult that groomed several mentally ill girls into becoming anorexic and, like Meowbah, cutting their usernames into their bodies. Additionally, similarly to DJ Axle from the Council of Evil, the heads of Milady Maker have also faced allegations of grooming people into transitioning. Their response to all of this? They were just trolling. Irony, performance art, etc. Nothing pedophilic going on here at all.

All of this to say, it is plain to see that there is a very clear pattern (across several different groups that have very little to absolutely nothing to do with each other) of patently depraved pedophiles using Discord to share CP and groom/harm minors (and to a lesser extent the mentally ill) and claiming to be Just Trolling™️ or Milking The Lolcow™️ in an attempt to escape/deflect any scrutiny.

And couple everything in this post with the facts that a) OJ Simpson, MatthewHF, Mela M., and pretty much all the rest of the Clay Eaters were complicit in a member of their community soliciting nudes from a minor (and subsequently smearing that minor as a pedophile themselves!), and b) it is hilariously easy to find people within the Foodists' community bragging about owning and offering to distribute significantly obscure zoosadist snuff videos (and also just "ironically" using frames from Daisy's Destruction as video thumbnails).

I don't know how helpful or informative this will be to this thread, but another user recommended posting it to the thread in a private discussion.

For a while I had a YouTube channel where I uploaded troll videos and shockers to send to streamers. The channel was called "medic7 christian videos". The channel's name was based off of a fake ragetuber called Bill Jensen that larps as a Christian extremist. Somehow, this channel was noticed by a YouTuber called Plagued Moth, who included it in one of his videos. - "Your Children Are Watching Gore | YouTube Once Again Falls Short". The video generated a huge shitstorm, and to capitalize on it, a troll suggested I make a "medic7 legion" discord server. (There is a stupid TriHard meme where the word legion gets put after everything. Example - "Z-Trip Legion", referring to people in OddKast's community sending unpaid Z-Trips to him.)
2 servers were made, and neither lasted very long due to them being public and them being reported by both Plagued Moth and Bill Jensen fans. However due to the server's semi anarchic nature some people from a community called "Wang Dong News Network" joined.

Wang Dong is what I would consider a sub-community of the whole Foodist community. The Wang Dong server from what I heard is 100% unmoderated and as a result is full of loli, animal gore, etc. During the troll raids that were hosted by the "medic7 legion" discord server, these people posted such content. A third server was not made as a result of this. The now terminated Wang Dong News Network YouTube channel was full of generic Foodist troll videos (technoblade, ronnie mcnutt, etc). Some videos were about Foodist himself, and most of the videos tagged Foodist. I believe they joined to capitalize off of the Plagued Moth drama, as there were a few videos about Plagued Moth made on the Wang Dong News Network channel from what I remember.
