She has been active yesterday and the day before (don't think I saw her today either). Didn't see her much the last two weeks. She goes by Mandy_K on locals. My understanding of Mandy is she kicked it off with the lewd posting with her tits, on her potato quality phone.

It's become a joke within locals when someone posts a grainy photo, they reference her in regards to it.

That is about the lore I've picked up on Mandy, but I never was on Locals till recently.
She came on during the rittenhouse trial, her and cgoody had a fling that lasted a couple of months and she has been a mod on YouTube since, she and Cgoody had their thing (which started shortly after she showed up in chat) . Other than that I don't know. I believe her Youtube username is her first and last name.

Is Nick's Locals an exception to Null's Law? According to Dear Leader, all free speech communities end up turning into /pol/, but Nick's Locals is just a bunch of sad people pretending that posting nudes is the epitome of free speech (and fun, apparently).

If Nick's introduction to poppers goes the way his introduction to the Balldo did, I expect in 4-6 months he'll be doing entire streams about how awesome it is to use poppers before our wife/the fag he met at the gay bar glow party fuck him in the ass.

I guess nobody here cares about the Crowder contract drama Nick is going over, and I haven't seen the Crowder/DW back-and-forth for myself, but it appears to me at a glance of tonight's stream that Nick is impulsively playing defense force for Crowder throwing a public bitch fit over basic contract negotiations. Sounds more like clueless bias rather than expertise.

I think the fact you have to pay to chat in Locals kinda breaks the usual formula. Even if Something Awful didn't become infested with Leftoids, it never would've become /pol/ for similar reasons.

It's probably the most "Lawsplaining" he's done in months. His point about his Rumble contract being way more reasonable and benefitting him way more than Crowder's contract would've was genuinely insightful. Daily Wire is literally and metaphorically run by Jews.

Even so, Rumble and Daily Wire are entirely different kinds of companies, a user-content-based streaming platform versus a publisher with a paywall section. I'd expect for contracts from the two to be much different.

Super weird his viewers are over 15k on on rumble and his rumblerant count is at all time highs. He has repeatedly said his new audience hates the law content and loves his sex talk.

The incomplete stream for today is already close to having more viewers than Friday's stream. It also has over 200 comments already versus Friday's less than 100. I think it's safe to say his audience finds it much more engaging. Nick must be baffled.

So was the stream any good? OR was it more of the same boring shit he's been doing lately?
So I got time to watch yesterday's show for an hour. Some running commentary.

First 20 minutes had 2 minutes of content. The rest was bitching about his day and his kids, as well as superchats. I scrolled past half of it. One SC asked about our wife's nose ring (apparently she likes it and it doesn't bother him one bit). There was a toast to someone's mom.

During the next 20 minutes, he got through 5 minutes of Crowder's video. It was the usual stuff: 45 seconds of video, which he barely watches, being busy typing into Locals chat, followed by 2 minutes of normal takes and 2 minutes of toasting someone's newborn kid. Also, Nick apparently thinks that there an audience for everything on YouTube, "from conservatism to degeneracy." Make your own inferences about what that means for the show. Personally, if there is an audience for degeneracy worth cultivating, I don't think it's a man's job to cultivate it.

He says his contracts with Rumble and locals are very minimal. "No penalties." "No non-disparagement clause." "Even I had legal counsel when doing this." "Nothing like what Crowder's talking about was even present in our stuff." "If they- *laugh* my contract is not that much to make missing a show for $100k worth it, that would be an impossibility for me, that wouldn't work." Is he saying that the deal was worth less than $100k here? I think he is. At least, it's in the ballpark.

During the next 20 minutes, he got up to 12 minutes into Crowder's video. Fewer dumbass superchats, more commentary on the document at hand, zero sex jokes/references, good takes on advertiser boycotts. Felt like the good old days. I'm going to watch the rest in the evening and I hope this keeps up, because this kinda show might *gasp* be worth watching again.

By the way, if when you read this, Nick: your legal commentary on the language of the contract was good to listen to. This is why I subscribed all those years ago. The recent lack of it and the replacement of it with self-indulgent degeneracy was why I unsubscribed and slowly stopped watching. Now, I'm sure, being a reflexive contrarian bitch, you're thinking "good riddance, I got enough wine moms that pay me to call them beauties, I don't need boring non-degenerate people like you." Let me agree with Null here: I really don't think that's sustainable. I don't think that's a healthy audience to try to grow. Frankly, I'd rather you returned to pandering to weeaboos, if not just "people interested in the law." At least those only thirsted over 2D women and were generally against cancel culture. Unlike the people you court now, who organize false flagging campaigns against people you happen to dislike right there in your sex-mad Locals chat.

The rumble chat is way more engaged. The log is already 1MiB larger than last nights stream and that was already 1MiB larger than friday. I am actually writing the chat log parser because of the amount of rumblerants. The numbers were low enough that i just did it manually up until now.

edit:
Wednesday's total on rumble was $401 in 56 superchats. Probably his best normal stream he has had on rumble.

Golang app is written to do the parsing and counting so no more basic math for me. Next task is to see if the sqlite lib for go is usable and dump these into a database. Get some graphs going to show rants over the course of the stream.

If I wanted degenerate sex talk and sad wine moms, I'd just watch porn with some choice discord chats open. And it's free.

If I wanted layperson-friendly law talk with an irreverent twist, I'd watch early 2022 and older Rackets.

Is it bad that a small part of me wants that dark horse redemption arc.
