You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

When I'm at a store and someone parks their cart right in the middle of the aisle and stands next to it, effectively blocking the entire aisle. They are also typically oblivious when someone else is approaching and trying to pass.
Other peoples carts and the products within are not the property of the shopper. Therefore you can push/shove/kick it out of your way. That is not illegal or even morally wrong.

People who bag up their dog’s poop and leave the bag on the ground. Instead of picking it up and throwing it out like a normal person, it’s now preserved in the bag forever or until someone else picks it up. It’s (slightly) worse than leaving the shit on the ground. At least if it’s left on the ground it has a chance to biodegrade. I see then every time I go to a state park, it’s such trashy behavior.

The way to deal with this is strategic and deniable rudeness. In many ways, rudeness is as important as politeness in keeping social order. Of course, there's an art to it - don't get into trouble.

I don't like how those who overvalue originality or © claim fanfiction or other fan works are inherently "degrading to the original work", "self-indulgent", or otherwise bad or crap one way or another. Such BS ignores that historically and now, there's good stuff that's "fan works" of other works - even though there are also crappy ones.

And of course original works can be crappy too.

The boot drive is probably fine tho, you could prolly get in plugged into a different machine, right? What laptop got spilled on?
It was an HP, I held on to it to see if that'd work but unfortunately due to past experience I haven't had any success with HPs.

Likewise anyone who bitches about tracing or unoriginal character design/names, considering half of any decent comic/manga/videogame has a lot of ripped off character and art designs or are named after bands/characters the creators' like.
Without tracing we wouldn't have this guy.

Replacing the swastika with the Iron Cross on Nazi Germany heraldry and vehicles. It is done solely in response to people who don't play the games or build models and just enjoy annoying people who do. And it worked! I'm annoyed, because it's a stupid purity test, and purity tests are annoying.

tracing or unoriginal character design/names
If the one doing the tracing or copying isn't lying by passing it off as original, then there should be no "plagiarism" there.

(although whether or not it's copyright infringement is another story - and there are situations where it's not always infringement)

tone indicators really annoy me to no end.
what ever happened to jk for joking? now everything is /srs or /j
I think so many people, especially zoomers who basically grew up online and/or with their focus always on devices, are often really socially stunted in addition to being insecure in themselves and how they might be perceived in the worst case scenario.

True. Though I'm not the only one who still has to deal with retarded autists who think I'm being 100% serious 100% through a post or post-to-post, even though I'll go out of my way to switch to frivolous language when I'm joking in between saying shit that sounds closer to 'customer service mode'. I don't care if I piss off some retarded nigger with what I'm serious about while he tries to use what I said sarcastically against me as though I was serious, but goddamn do I not need to deal with them annoying the shit out of me over it elsewhere afterwards. That's when it starts to grind my gears.
