Maybe she’s phrasing it this way to manipulate the ignorant like myself but she’s framing it as a wider issue: a failure to stand up for anyone or even themselves in the process.
From re-reading the tweets it sounds like she decided to fight some cause, no one else cared, and the nail that stuck out got hammered back in.
The context iirc is that she isnt sexy like the old x play cohosts so viewers were like "can we have a sexier cohost?". Instead of coping and sneeding she went and had a tard rage on stream about how gaymers are evil like always. Everyone saw this and laughed at g4, essentially torpedoing that revival.
The truth is the revival was doomed to fail because g4 as a brand made no sense to revive in the first place. Her chimpout didn't help but the original g4 died for a reason and trying to bring it back was the investor equivalent of playing scratch-off lotto.

Sean was friends with Dick since they were teenagers and he went into the liquor store when Dick was underaged, so there’s probably a lot of sentimental value in working with Dick. He also only works 2-3 hours a week on the show (not sure about bonus episodes) which leaves him plenty of time to work other jobs. I don’t think Sean does any prep work for the show because Dick wants him to be the straight man to all the crazy internet stuff Dick shows him and so Dick wants his reaction to be brand new. That just leaves the on air audio engineering work.
