There are likely a few reasons these women are "such fun" for Nick. One aspect could be a low-level form of sexual dominance. This is a group of men/women, some of whom he has personal contact with, that he has some degree of sexual influence over. His Locals are paying for the pleasure of exposing themselves, and if Nick wants pics, he can get them, as demonstrated by the the Locals bot "test". Apparently, there's no place on the internet where Locals can find existing nudes/lewds and then test it themselves in a vacuum, but who am I to stand in the way of content for the farms.

Another example of this is Nick and Kayla going to swinger/gay locals, getting hit on, and then turning them down (allegedly). This is also a low-level/passive form of exerting sexual dominance that can make one feel sexually desirable/powerful without much effort (perfect for Nick).

Before I continue I want to be clear that it is reductionist to think of human sexuality purely in terms of dominance/submissiveness or power dynamics. I am only speaking about those who tend to fixate/sexualize those aspects as a kink on some level. Moving on.

When someone feels they can exert sexual power over someone they know the bar for physical sex appeal can be lowered to a degree because it is more of a psychological form of arousal. For some people, there's something special about making a passable 40 year old who you know from church/work pay you so she can send you nudes (bonus if she's married).

For those seeking pleasure through sexual dominance/control, the point is that the subject is making themselves extremely vulnerable (in this case, exposing themselves to some degree) for a reward (usually attention/approval). This blend of familiarity, vulnerability, and celebrity (aka power) makes those engaged in parasocial relationships more prone behavior like posting nudes/lewds.

BDSM is a more extreme example of this. OF is a warped extension of this as well (the simps have to pay to get the feeling of control in making the subject do what they want). More could be said about them, but I digress.

A more healthy example would be a man's wife, however attractive she may be, evincing this vulnerability out of devotion and love. This vulnerability is an extreme demonstration of trust, which is why revenge porn is regarded as such an extreme violation of trust.

This vulnerability/trust, compounded by its sexual nature, can create a sense of intimacy which can be dangerous if handled irresponsibly. Many examples of this on this site alone (degenerate content creators, crazed fans, posted lewds/nudes, etc.)

However Nick perceives the attention, I would be argue that his Locals (and wife) aren't just posting for Nick. However, the thrill is likely still there for Nick on some level though since it's his Locals group. They've been stroking his ego and he's been unironically described as an "alpha" there. I find this assessment odd since Nick enjoys being stepped on in public, among other things documented here...

A more accurate assessment (at this point) would be that Nick gets his kicks anywhere he can get them.
Nick and his Locals want to be a part of an online kink community, but can’t stand not being the center of attention. Or in Nick’s case getting paid just for the privilege of interacting with him directly, making him a hook-nosed hot-tub e-thot that charges paypigs for (L)OnlyChats. They wouldn’t get any interaction/headpats in a real online community, and would get ridiculed mercilessly for posting those leathery fried eggs nailed to a rib cage. So they go where it’s not expected, like a flasher. Big Fish Little Pond vs Little Fish Big Pond. Similar to those faggots that peaked in Junior High and now get bullied in High School, so they constantly go back to “visit their favorite teacher” just to repair their damaged egos by flirting with middle schoolers just to feel important. They are all so ordinary that they cling to their hugbox, like a Reddit mod.

For those interested in Nick's Christian faith, I have a clip pertaining to Nick's advice for Christians.

The main event (depicted below) is Nick's eloquent, controlled, and not at all patronizing response to people who take issue with his use of profanity:

(Side note: Noticing clips from my posts on a couple streams/Youtube videos, so I made an effort to add some light censorship to this clip for the benefit of whoever uses it on whatever platform. Also because I find the beeping funny, sorry if its a bit loud.)

Uncensored version here:

People can say slurs/curse without hate behind it, but note the word Nick had the most derision for (hint: it was uncensored).

That's right, of all the slurs Nick listed, the term "Christian" was the one intended as an attack. Nick used the designation of "Christian" as an insult the same way as he might also use "trad", "prude", or "incel" as of late.

Nick claims that words are syllables and letters that don't mean anything, and all that matters is what you mean.

Words, spoken or written, have definitions. This is the bedrock of language and a big reason why communication within even a large group of people is possible. Intention and context become more relevant in the event of a breakdown in communication, where an attempt may be made to clarify meaning with (you guessed it) more words.

But no, Nick had to use his big brain to engage in the philosophical concept of language and meaning by communicating with his words how words don't mean anything to a large group of people who (pending their level of education) understand the same language which is why he bothers speaking these "meaningless" syllables at all.

There are better ways of justifying free speech than undermining the foundations and purpose of language.

As a side note, this clip came right after he defended this drinking habits on stream by saying that lawyers have a higher rate of addiction and substance abuse than even stock brokers. Rather than seeing this as a problem, Nick, in his wisdom, would like to add to that statistic and give us moments like this:

I'm beginning to think that Nick has been hanging out on Reddit too much. He's turned into a coomer. He has Reddit tier philosophical takes and milquetoast theological opinions.

‘And only one for birthday presents, you know. There’s glory for you!’

‘I don’t know what you mean by “glory”,’ Alice said.

‘Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. ‘Of course you don’t–till I tell you. I meant “there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!”’

‘But “glory” doesn’t mean “a nice knock-down argument”, Alice objected.

‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

‘The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

‘The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”

He pretty much spelled it out a few weeks before this started blowing up; he feels like no one appreciates him or compliments him in his private life so random paypigs posting their unwashed asses and dick pics at him makes him feel wanted and validated more than his family or friends do. He wants the sensation rock stars get from groupies throwing themselves at them because having an unhinged trailer trash tat wife and 5 kids in the middle of nowhere doesn't really make him happy. For all the times he insists he isn't a cuck or a swinger he very obviously wishes he could have Drex's hedonistic degenerate lifestyle but instead of being a rock star or some sort of gangbang event organizer he has to settle for sloppy shitstained 50 year old skanks and their desperate simps posting dicks. He's in a hell of his own creation and doesn't want to admit it.

As a side note, this clip came right after he defended this drinking habits on stream by saying that lawyers have a higher rate of addiction and substance abuse than even stock brokers.
Shut-ins who don't work and have no hobbies have a considerably higher rate of alcoholism and substance abuse problems than either of those professions. Nick is a better fit for that group than lawyers.
I would also suspect his alcoholism started way before law school.

Like I said, there are likely a few reasons behind it, and I think you touched on a few. Some Nick is aware of and other reasons that he is obviously either not aware of (or doesn't want to admit to). Covering it all in a single post would be a quite a task without resorting to reductionist conclusions, but it's fun putting pieces together and seeing what fits.

I do enjoy reading these takes on what the various reasons for Nick's behavior could be. This has been a most welcome diversion.

I was thinking about this the other day remember when he was being super cringe saying he was going to start complimenting people more? I think he was talking to Megan whoever he was talking to looked skeptical/uncomfortable so he awkwardly jumped to clarifying that he meant non sexual compliments. Sure you did buddy sure you did.

Yeah, that's the thing. The Rittenhouse interview will help his sub numbers, but it'll be interesting to see where he goes from there. He still says the old content format doesn't interest him anymore.
Which blows my brain. The entire explosive growth of his channel was that he made the law accessible to the layman. He stripped away the mystery of it the same way Julia Child broke the mystery of classical French cooking. Sure, there is technique to it and a right and wrong way to do it. But the way she shoved an entire stick of butter up a chicken carcasses asshole was just...amazing to the viewers of the time.

People don't want hear about Balldo's and toasts to random assholes dead cats. They want to have Melinda Scotts latest insane filing read word for word to them by a half drunk lawyer; Then have that fully drunk lawyer explain why she is such an enormous retard. That was nicks formula. Its what worked.

This new Rekieta law is essentially Rekieta Law "Updated for Modern Audiences". Its a shitty insult to what came before, its dumber then what came before, and it is supremely, unambiguously boring. That is what upsets me the most. Not the Balldo, not the ass pic, not the Locals chat full of thirsting cougars sending candid shots of their sagging boobs. Its that the show is BORING now. It takes half a fucking hour to get through the toasts to someone kid, dead dog and/or birthday. After that we get 10 minutes of topical material and then more bullshit., By the time all the interesting stuff has been covered hours have gone by and Rekieta is an incoherent drunk mess.

I am not sitting through hours of bullshit for 1 hour of content. And I can't be arsed to organize each stream by time stamp for the actual subject matter vs. the pointless crap.

Lol, so true. Lawyers have high rates of alcoholism (and to a lesser degree, drug abuse) due to the nature of the job and (some) personality features drawn to it. Nick has few crossover points with the "average" lawyer - he's never worked at a big firm or high-intensity practice; he handled low-stakes matters; he's clearly not personally over-punctilious about formal detail in his filings; where/what he practices are not overly stringent about such things. He went to an OK law school (OK, fr, it is bottom 25%, but I have known many fine lawyers to come out of Wm Mitchell before it became Mitchell Hamlin) that is fine but not extraordinarily cutthroat [where did he fall GPA-wise?] . And he comes from money. The things (extrinsic and intrinsic) that tend to send lawyers to addiction are not applicable for him.

You pretty much articulated why I used to like Nicks show and why I stopped watching much. I still like Nick, he can be entertaining, but what made his show stand out was the way he took what is a very dry concept and broke it down so you could follow what was happening with the benefit of the chicanery being explained in a way that was amusing and easy to follow. His Rittenhouse coverage was upfront and accurate without the bullshit politics that all the other sources covering it where injecting it with, with all the bias and bullshit of the modern Lugenpresse, and it's what made him stand out and what brought him the audience. He pretty much kept the formula through the Depp trial but as time went on the show got to be less about what he was covering and more about him.
He made that old mistake - he became the content.
And while that may have been great for the parasocial dweeb community he was building up, it just isn't what most people where there for, and then the tiddy posting and Nick, being Nick, doubling down and doubling down again everytime there was pushback, it just became harder and harder to ignore the hypocrisy of the guy who used to mock the shit out of thots and simpery now going out of his way to build up and pander to those cringeworthy faggots himself, until we got where we are with the Balldo shit and the weird sex obsession taking over more and more till now it's the whole show.
I still like Nick, but this shit ain't my thing, it's funny watching someone who almost seems determined to turn into a lolcow out of spite because they don't like being told that's what they're doing though, so I guess that's something.

As for Mug Club? How did you not know it was a Blaze thing. Crowder mentioned it was in partnership with them almost every time he mentioned it.

I've never really watched the show -- just clips. Also, I run that Sponsorblock app that just chops all that shit out. So I knew the Mug Club was a thing but because I had no interest in it, I didn't really pay it much attention.

I don't know about his GPA, but it took him five years to get through the program (2011-2015). And far as I can tell he was going full-time to day school. Unemployment after graduation would not suggest a great GPA. But getting in there at the age he did with a creative writing degree from University of Minnesota Marshall is a bit of an accomplishment (IMO).

The 'comedian' has just discovered Lenny Bruce..

Sixty years later than everyone else, but hey... if you're going to build a platform as an 'edgy' comedian, you can do a lot worse than study at the feet of the masters.

Perhaps he'll start shooting dilaudid next week as well?

He pretty much kept the formula through the Depp trial but as time went on the show got to be less about what he was covering and more about him.
I'm going to counter on that point. Depp is where he started to change content. He stopped doing the mst3k style commentary and didn't talk over the trial because the audience complained. That is where the winemom got their tendrils into him. It hurt him on viewer numbers until the DUIguy shit happened. Legalbytes was doing a better job by miles.

Most days you had Nick by himself saying absolute nothing 70% of the time and eating. Only when Branca came on did the rules get broken and the winemoms get pissed off.

This is the kind of thing that plagues the likes of Ethan Klein and Keemstar to an extent. The only difference is that Nick does not waste his life trying to follow the same kind of clout that both of them willingly gave out when they became shells of themselves (more so Ethan than Keem).

It’s no surprise that Nick will be heading into that route if he does not do a complete 180 degrees on his livestreaming LawTube career.
