I keep reading this about the DVTs, but forgive me if I’m wrong, but I thought she said she was on blood thinners. I kind of doubt it because she never talks about getting her blood tested for any levels of Coumadin and I can’t imagine her being on the more expensive ones That don’t require that. So I’m completely confused about that. But if there’s blood clots in the works, I am all for it. We already can assume I guess that she doesn’t wear compression hose. If it’s true she doesn’t take any meds or wear compression hose she’s really flirting with danger. But apparently Gunty likes to do that anyways.Or shortly thereafter. People talk about her not fitting into 2 seats, but the more serious risk is that she might actually die of DVT from such a long flight. Yet she continues to buy bucketloads of shit like this last grocery haul, and is seemingly oblivious to its health consequences. You expect this attitude of invincibility from teenagers because their brains have not fully matured yet. But someone in their 30's should have a clue, particularly since she has a history of blood clots and respiratory problems.
Since Chantal considers herself a celebrity, she should know that celebrities have died from DVT -- painter Frida Kahlo, actor Jimmy Stewart, comedian Garry Shandling. None of them were obese. Rapper Heavy D died of a blood clot after a flight from London to L.A. He was obese, 344 lbs (156 kg)--but he was a strapping 6'4" (1.9m), not a runty 5'1" (1.5m), so still had a much lower BMI than Chantal.
Pro basketball player Chris Bosh was booted from the NBA largely because the frequent travel increased his likelihood of DVT. If a pro athlete in peak physical condition couldn't be medically cleared for long-distance travel, what makes Chantal think her fat ass should be flying 6000 miles back and forth to Kuwait?
I don't get it. I really don't. But then again, this is Chantal and she thinks she can do whatever she wants, consequences be damned. We'll see.
