As fate would have it, Elliot's been acting as a martyr-by-proxy for the trannies with programming socks that got laid off by Google yesterday.

Dong Gone doesn't seem to realize that openly badmouthing a former employer makes you highly unattractive to potential future employers. Good thing that honeycomb.io was (and remains) willing to employ an admitted rapist, because I very much doubt that any other company will be willing to hire an admitted rapist who is on record trashing a company that he worked for.

Honestly, every ex-Google employee who resorts to backbiting Alphabet on LinkedIn is a fucking lolcow in their own right. I mean... the most vocal opponents of these layoffs on LinkedIn look like goddamn castrated consent accident enthusiasts. I fucking despise Alphabet, but you can't pay me enough to sympathise with the people who got laid off.

You usually don't even need to conduct a background check to find that out. These people are drama queens who think their shit doesn't stink, and usually they can't even turn that off for a couple of hours of interviewing. If you look at their resumes or LinkedIns they're usually hopping jobs yearly or even more, and in most cases it's not like they have a history of publications or presentations that shows they're really exceptional at what they do. They're just unlikeable divas. Elliot being at Google for like 8 years and Honeycomb for 3-4 is a real outlier as far as that goes.
Hopefully the tech/startup crunch means that genderspecials and idpol assholes will be squeezed out of the industry. I'd much rather work with a bunch of FOB Slavs and Indians who are just overjoyed to have a working refrigerator than one he/they.
