No Trolling Plans
Has anyone been to one of the wrestling events? incog.
I am thinking of getting a faded NiN shirt, a few naval sunlit piercings and bowling along to one. It's great to be viewed autistic here so I thank you for the warm welcome

There are people who just watch a youtuber habitually - even if the content has drastically changed. There will be a lot of "inertia" for someone that was previously successful as fans hold out that the "next" video will be a return to form.

It takes a long time for a content creator to actually lose an audience (barring they don't do some single gigantic offputting thing) and a lot of YT content is "timeless" - aka you can still go and watch the old stuff.

I used to read his old reviews and thought Jim was alright right at the beginning of him using Youtube, even the digital homicide stuff was pretty good.
In terms of blasting Greenlight and the huge early influx of Steam turd shit that's now commonplace. Jim was fairly funny.
But fucking hell it's just dire now. A defunct turd balling on wrestling on others expense

@Braowbun please try not to double-post in a thread unless you've got something important to say that can't just be edited into your previous post.

I guess I left out a group I think exists but that I don't understand. The group that WANTS to be angry and that "enjoys(?)" screaming, crying and hating everything.
I used to be one of those people and I can tell you it's a fucking miserable way to live your life. Years ago I read an article on Cracked, so take this for what it's worth, about how chasing this type of dopamine hit is particularly destructive because it operates like a drug addiction: after a certain point you need harder and more sustained highs to keep getting the seem feeling you used to by just scrolling Twitter for a couple minutes; now you need to spend your whole day arguing on Twitter to get your fill.

I think Jim is definitely one of these people, it's not just an act any more, which explains why he attracts similar perpetually angry people. Misery loves company, after all.

My friend who still watches Jim says the same thing, thinks the trooning out is a bit weird but likes that Jim doesn't mince words when slagging off the big publishers.
I've heard similar from people who are on the edge of the hobby about other perpetually angry channels. Some people just want to hear someone say bad things about corporations.

Faggot, no gay ops. Though I don't think anyone has gone.

Don't double post faggot.

Honestly, Jim's best work has always been his written reviews. I remember once upon a time part of the whole going solo thing was so that he would never have to quit writing reviews, how he would have his written reviews no matter what. He actually had a well-defined review scores scale that worked, then he stopped applying review scores for no fucking reason, everybody else was saying to get rid of the score, but he was standing firm that he felt that is for could mean something if it was more than just 5 to 10. He stopped writing reviews instead. Just making his videos, then he stopped making video reviews for the most part.

Now the only video game related thing he consistently does is Jimquistion each week. It was also worth noting that when he still had his review scores, The way he utilized his scale meant that getting a seven or an eight was still a pretty damn good review score. He was giving games that were mediocre fives when everyone else was giving them seven. Well oh well. Generally agreeing with the mediocre score and critique that everybody else was giving them, it was just a difference at where the number started.

I say Jim just doesn't care about video games anymore. He's still seemingly cares about some nerd adjacent things. He's got a thing for old toys, he might have a thing for comics, he has a bit of a thing for wrestling, and an interest in tabletop games, but there's no passion for it.

It is worth pointing at TB here. Total Biscuit was really big into airsoft, shooting at the range, 40k, wrestling, tabletop, and video games. The man had multiple interests, and while his channel was about reviewing video games, he would frequently talk about and just occasionally grab and show off things related to his other hobbies, he was clearly a man who was passionate about his hobbies.

Even though Jim talks about wrestling all the time, I have never got the impression that he is passionate for it. There is no passion for his wrestling career there, there's no passion for his games career. It really does not seem like Jim cares.

TB sold himself as more than just a consumer advocate who got pissed off of corporations, and there was more than one time where on his podcast TB would be shitting on big companies, and he was just as ruthless of it as Jim ever was, the key difference is he didn't toss in a joke about sex or bodily waste. So in many ways they appealed to the same surface level market in gaming. The difference was always the passion behind it.

It has been pointed out multiple times that Jim was in a position to inherit that niche, but he never did. The reason is, at the end of the day, he lacked the passion for his field, and I truly believe most of that passion was locked up into writing of reviews, not in videos.

Someone half decent at photography has taken two pictures of Jim in his wrestling getout and man, he doesn't look good.

I know browsing this site carries risks but i was not prepared for this. I am convinced that he is intentionally trying to look as grotesque as "humanly" possible. He likes that people are sickened by him but they can't really do much about it because of the current situation.

I used to be one of those people and I can tell you it's a fucking miserable way to live your life.

I did that for a while with the news. Do not recommend. I feel that is what most of the terminally online people do. Maybe that explains why they are terminally online?

Glad you said that because I felt it was always off in some way. Like he's trying too hard. His personas bled into him so much I think even he can't tell what he's performing and what he genuinely feels. Take into account he's taking titty skittles which mess with your emotions, mood and mental state. I think Jim finds it hard to know what he cares about.

I officially redact any statement I ever made about him maybe losing some weight.

Is there actually a story behind that god awful dog collar he wears?
Most troons wear it, it is a fetish thing, but it's also used to hide the Adam's apple. Chicken/ egg situation.

That skirt totally ruins the lines of the costume. It looks extraneous, because it is. Something about the cape bothers me, too.
I think Jim totally ruins the lines of the costume. But the fucking cape looks like it had a stock image printed on it, probably because it does. His oversized frumpy body with his oversized clothes and combined with the angle makes his head look so fucking disproportionate. Then you have that fritzy hair forcing itself out the back of his mask. His fucking *winged* black lipstick that makes his upper-lip look like a mustache worn by a caricature. The excessive ugly yellow eyeshadow. Really, it only gets worse the longer you look.

Let me front-load this by saying everything about Jim's wrestling is awful and he is delusional if he actually thinks he's going to make it in the industry, but his original Sterdust costume was pretty good at the tier of local wrestler he was (and remains) at.

This new outfit is like a metaphor for troonery: he's thrown a bunch of unnecessary shit on top of something that was fine as it was and turned it into a confusing mess that nobody wants to look at.
I'm pretty sure thats his actual hair.
Do we have any recent photos of his natural hair, sans mask? I remember him posting a progress photo quite a while back and it looked horrendous because of how badly balding he is. I can only imagine with the length of his hair in these photos he must look like the caretaker from Harry Potter at this point.
