The US hits the debt limit every year. Its become a political ritual here, complete with the news media putting on sack cloth and ashes and wailing about how the divine State is set to abandon us unless we sacrifice more debt on the altar of progress. Then the Priests of the Senate go behind closed doors and engage in ritual combat, before slitting the throat of a 6 year old virgin girl. As she is strung up by her ankles the Clerk of Senate steps foreword to measure the location on the floor of the conference room where the blood lands. The last drop before she dies being considered especially portentous. Based on the blood splatter the Senate then determines what programs to cut, what to keep funding, and even what gets increased funding. An omnibus spending bill is then presented to the house floor, while the girls corpse is donated to Ben's Chili Bowl a few blocks from the capital to help feed the peasants.
...and that's a healthy, non-collapsing economy?

Again, I've seen the same scenario play out with the collapse of the USSR. Disastrous war in Afghanistan, then a technogenic man-made catastrophe (Covid/Covid vaccines/Chernobyl), followed by years of social instability, then a foreign-controlled puppet of a leader who can't string two words together gets "elected", economy collapses, leading to a complete default. At some point a few regions will be lost as well.

We're at the "economy collapses" stage. The US hasn't lost any regions yet either, but there's enough time for that to happen.

Just is the meaning of a woman has been changed by western culture, so, too, can what it means to be European, change.
Nothing has changed outside the minds of progressive, postmodern spergs that should be deported to Russia.
Reality is objective and if it cannot be observed and described, reliably, through the scientific method, it's fiction and should stay in the SF books.

We don't really need non-Europeans in NATO. It's really easy as.
The logic is very sound. Turkey is in a key strategic position geographically for any large-scale war in Eastern Europe, and has a strong military. It's undeniably an asset to have them on your side rather than not. The only time it becomes a problem is in the scenario that NATO is being used other than defensively. NATO's purpose is solidarity in the event of a member being attacked by an outside party. Isn't it?

Isn't it?

You know, instead of just rating my video where experienced infantrymen broke down the M2 Bradley "Mad at the Internet", you could have, I dunno, watched it. That way you would not keep repeating blatantly wrong information. You could also read what I wrote too while you are at it, in that I literally said the Bradley is not a tank.
I see in addition to being a hopeless POG you are also a hopeless analphabet. I wasn't referring to the Bradley's capabilities; which, if deployed correctly by a competent commander and an experienced and trained crew, is perfectly fine. I stated the Bradley is neither going to be properly deployed nor will it it be crewed by experienced, trained soldiers. You have not refuted that but decided to sperg about something I never posted.

Tell me how you break down the M242 chain gun and repair it in a country that has neither the facilities or logistics to do so?

Also, others in this thread were referring to it as a tank, so I just added "a Bradley is not a tank" for clarity's sake.
Needed to a rate a purely informational post where I didn't even say anything "Dumb" not MATI.
If the glove fits, you must stop talking shit

The logic is sound only if you are an universalist shitlib that thinks peoples are exchangeable and can serve identical goals. This perspective denies the fact that ethnic groups with their own culture and historical heritage exist, and while it is true that Turkey was often in opposition to Russia, the reasons are not the same as East Europe's. Turkey simply competed for the same lands in East EU which it considered that it owned, just like Russia is, and has the same disregard for Europeans Russia has.
This is why Turkey is not a reliable ally when it comes to pretty much anything other than passive deterrence. Whenever something that might make Europe stronger happens, Turkey opposes it. It chimps out against Greece all the time, too. And it expects Europe to give a fuck that Kurds are rebellious nerds and to help Turkey put them down, which is lunacy.
A HUGE Amerifat mistake, very naive.

What the hell is that nonsense word salad supposed to mean? Get off the computer and take your meds.

Looks like this NAFO shill doesn't read financial news, lol.
You're an absolute idiot if you think this has anything to do with Russia, this is a purely political issue, if the Republicans all agreed to raise the limit tomorrow it would be raised and business would go on as usual, and there's nothing Russia could do to stop it besides somehow influencing Republican politicians to not raise it.

...and that's a healthy, non-collapsing economy?

It's been like this for decades, it has nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine.

Bro, you must have an extra chromosome or something. Did you miss my post about Russian crude and diesel prices?

...now think, what runs on diesel?

Or do you believe that if the Republicans agree to raise the debt limit and borrow more virtual money, that will somehow make diesel prices cheaper? If yes, please explain how.

Ya because it's moronic and untrue, I live in the US gas and consumer prices are going down here.

US Gas Prices over Last Year

Inflation Going Down
> he doesn't know that diesel and gasoline aren't the same

You're 12, aren't you? Sorry bro, you must be at least this tall to participate in this discussion.

Diesel is also down, your numbers are only for 2022 as a whole not the last 6 months, the importance of diesel is in the role it plays in consumer inflation which is why I posted evidence that inflation is down.

Diesel was at $5.78 in July and it's $4.52 now, even you should be able to clearly see that it's going down, not up.

That's great, except it was $3.2 last year. There was a minor retrace but the overall trend is still going to go up. Why? Again, because of the lack of Russian heavy crude.

You must be a real fucking retard to think that prices will go back to last year's, considering that the main supplier of cheap heavy crude that is most suitable for making diesel has cut you off. Sure, the US can make diesel out of their own oil, but at a great expense, which will they pass on to the consumer, reverberating throughout the entire logistical chain. I take it you don't do much with finances.

LOL the vatnik thinks a $1.30 rise in diesel is "putting the US economy on the brink of destruction" it would be cute if it weren't so pathetic. If it's so catastrophic, why is inflation down?

Inflation is Going Down

I understand how it would seem like that to a basement-dwelling NEET, but maybe ask one of your mom's trucker friends how much it's costing to do freight right now, and ask how that's affecting everything else.

Also to you it's $1.30, to me it's nearly 50% from the previous cost. See the difference?

...wait a second, do you seriously believe that if inflation is going down, that means prices are going to be coming down too? Bro, ask an adult to explain to you how inflation works.

LOL as usual the Russia bots start throwing out personal insults because your idiotic propaganda is so dumb and you can't deal with reality any other way. Again, if this $1.30 rise in diesel were so devastating why is inflation down? You won't answer it because it will make your agitprop addled brain explode.

$8+ for a carton of 12 eggs has everyone in the building trying to come up with a plan for a chicken coop. People with families, who have seen this happen before, know what needs to be done. The soon-to-be formerly affluent suburban interent Pattons who haven't a clue are going to be in for a huge surprise.

LMAO. Just quoting this for posterity, so everyone can see.

Yeah, owning chickens is going to be very commonplace soon, looking into it myself too.

Destroyed T-72B1 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye direction, but never mind, Ukraine will eliminate the ruZZian orcs in their new Leopard tanks! Soon! Very soon!

photo1674495428.jpeg
Fortifications continue to be built around Kiev but the Saloreich does not fear a new attempt by the ruZZian army to take the capital, this is just preparation for spring planting.

It's been reported ruZZia took Kleshcheyevka near the totally insignificant village of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), Donetsk Republic.

If so, this makes it possible for ruZZian forces to completely cover Artemovsk from the south and cut off Ukrainian supply routes, which or course will never happen as orcs don't know what those are.
