There are a lot of cases that end up pointing to the same kind of thing: supplying victims to the elite, producing snuff/extreme bdsm material for those same elites, serial killers with oddly consistent connections to powerful people/army/cia.

The major difference is that we don't really know mary's age, and it was never a cause or justification. Current estimates based on history would say that she was 15-16 when she had Jesus. The thing is though it was never a concern of the religion, much in the same way we know jesus had 4 brothers. It is a passing mention only, peripheral and utterly irrelevant to the core of the faith.
Islam by contrast dedicates quite a few of hadith to Aisha's age, and gives fervent repeated justification from the sunnah and the Quran for Muhammad fucking a prepubescent child.

All Jewish and Christian religious sources meanwhile state puberty is the bare minimum, whereas most judeo-christian societies set late (16-18) adolecensce as the age of marriage.

Almost everything about Tate suggests he has just some talent and drive to be manipulative and leverages that at trying to worm his way into higher society. Tate is not a serious enough or intelligent enough person to be an asset of an intelligence agency or high level blackmail ring.
