Jan Krüger / Pokémon Challenges / pchaltv - Supreme Gamer, "the best Nuzlocker in the world", self-diagnosed bipolar brony, defender of e-thots, arrogant wannabe mastermind

I found something interesting, a spinoff from the Clover arc three years ago.
Jan was kindly feeding some trolls in the twitter DMs.
Enjoy

I still don't get the bitching about Clover. Jan grew up with shows like South Park and there is no problem with making fun about certain groups of people when you make fun about everybody else.
I think it's a severe case of virtue signaling here with a lot of soy and the desire to show off his goku get'm attitude to wokist e-thots.
Today he manages to keep up the mask of sanity better, because sugardaddy Alphachad patiently manages to handle his temper tantrums like a boss.

He reeks of someone who is projecting hard. He's probably racist, we know he's an incel from that cringe Twitter reply to the e-thot and he probably hates transgender people. In an effort to distance himself from being a hater of these groups, he goes to the other extreme and screeches over the most minor things.

True.

The narcissist is most likely a misogynist because women at least sometimes don't behave the way he wants.
Simping/Whiteknighting is mostly just a lousy effort to manipulate women while the simp is oblivious he's the one being tricked.
In the waifu tierlist video, Jan places the Gym Leader Valerie lower than he normally would because a girl named Valerie he had a crush on at high school
has been "really mean" to him. Being really mean equals not letting him have sex with her for free, obviously.

If such a small incident manages to throw him off and hold a grudge against every other Valerie, one incident with black kids bullying him could leave poor Jan so scarred he secretly hates them for the rest of his life. But as a noble streamer, you have to be a good boy and not say these things.
He frequently uses 4chan vocabulary as well.

Just for fun, I’d like to go ahead and counter-argue all the points I remember from this annoying fuck’s “Johto bad” video.

1. all the Johto Pokémon are weak besides the ones that evolve from Kanto Pokémon
This problem isn’t exclusive to Johto. In fact, the average base stat total of Pokémon from Hoenn is lower than that of Johto. Hell, this problem still applies to some of the newer regions like Alola and Paldea (aside from movepool, Spidops is outclassed by fucking Kricketune, for example). I’d argue the only truly unusable Johto mon is Unown, because even things like Ledian and Ariados have interesting support moves.

2. Gold and Silver were rushed because of things like the Cyndaquil line having the same stats as the Charmander line or Feraligatr missing an O
Okay, I can agree that I’m not a big fan of how Typhlosion has the exact same stats as Charizard, but I think it’s still not as obnoxious as the time we got 3 Fire/Fighting starters in a row. The Charizard stats also fit Typhlosion’s movepool pretty well, as its main strategy is to spam Eruption. As for Feraligatr, this point is simply a nitpick that Jan chose to draw attention to; Victreebel has a similar issue where the name was supposed to have 2 Ls, but it didn’t fit.

3. Johto Pokémon are too rare/the game relies too heavily on Kanto Pokémon
I honestly don’t see a problem with wanting to keep the new Pokémon in a generation “secret.” Plenty of other games in the series have done this to varying extents, such as Sinnoh having a similar distribution of new mons as Johto, or certain mons simply being exceptionally rare in their debut game (Chimecho, Mareanie, Gholdengo). If anything, the rarity of Johto Pokémon encourages the player to try out new gameplay mechanics like the day/night cycle or the Pokégear (some trainers can tell you when a rare Pokémon outbreak is occurring).

4. Johto is compromised in order to include Kanto, while Kanto itself is also compromised
While it would’ve been nice to see Johto have its own Elite Four and Champion, I don’t think this is a major issue considering how much the league has changed between RBY and GSC. Although Johto may lack areas like a Safari Zone or a power plant, it has unique side areas of its own such as the National Park, Whirl Islands, or Bell Tower. It’s also worth noting that various Kanto areas were stripped down out of necessity due to the storage limitations of Game Boy cartridges, and said areas were restored in HGSS.

5. Team Rocket plot makes no sense/is weak and forgettable
Admittedly, the portrayal of Team Rocket in the Johto games is nothing special, particularly in GSC where the executives aren’t even given names. However, I like the idea of the gang not knowing what to do after the loss of their leader and desperately trying to bring him back. I also don’t see how their actions in this game “make no sense”; cutting off the Slowpoke tails fits with the common Team Rocket motive of stealing Pokémon for the sake of profit, and using the Radio Tower to evolve Magikarp makes sense when you consider the idea of them trying to rebuild their strength.

TLDR: Pro Nuzlocker uses weak arguments to trash a game because, despite his title, he can’t figure out how to Nuzlocke a main series Pokémon game.

Nice analysis
The whining about Feraligatr is completely pointless and probably just Jan trying to be controversial.
Go watch his rant about Deckidooeyh, then watch him sperging about Feraligatr afterwards. Yeah.
Those are faaaantasy. creaaatures, you may think Jan should better close his eyes, take a deep breath and remember the last time he felt the touch of a woman.

I just found out Slowbrogate exists, a phenomenon in the community that is still unsolved up to this date.

The background is that Jan very likely changed the IVs of his Slowpoke he used in a challenge, effectively cheating.
There is a whole thread on r/pchaltv about this incident.

Started watching his stuff a week ago and lets say I'm not surprised to see this thread. Originally it was Jayden's Nuzlocke videos and took it from there. Biggest benefit is I found entertaining Nuzlocke videos from other creators (Young Yong's bug nuzlocke was a fun watch as well and would love other suggestions). Though the Emerald Kaizo explanation for attempt 151 I did find entertaining, most of his stuff is very dry. What I enjoy from Nuzlocke stories is the little narratives that pop up from unexpected losses and what seemed like a wasted slot suddenly saving the day, Jan's stuff is too clinical (autustic) so the narrative is lost.

So, after reading the OP... I thought the whole "best nuzlocker" was kind of a dig at Wolf "pokemon champion that hasn't been close ever since" who I watched a few times (dropped him since he is such an insuferrable faggot). If he actually believes selling himself as the best nuzlocker unironically... and it's also funny since for all the shit he gives Alpharad (they will end up fuking) it was Jan who made the most fuckups in the soullink run.

Honestly my biggest surprise is that he wasn't gay since there were a couple of comments in a few videos where I thought "sounds like he's gay, so was probably molested and would explain the sperginess".

Simping for Jaiden was noticeable but I thought it was more clout chasing and "my lady" than outright lust. And isn't Jaiden a gender special anyway?

Too bad he had to be another SJW sperg, would have loved to see his video of "beat clover at attempt 1488" and going into autistic detail on how he dealt with all the instances of Motherfucker.

Speaking of clover, any full lets play worth watching? And made by somebody that has fun with it. I'm playing clover and beat Anonymous, but I'm having a hard time with even the retarded rival and I don't discard experiencing the magic through a Lets Play if I don't feel willing to EV train or breed once it gets harder. But it has to be watching somebody thay doesn't apologize/go on a rant every time a rabbi appears.
A little politsperging at night (3AM in Germany, sleep rhythm on fleek)
May contain traces of soy.

Of course the Kraut would be full of state mandated self loathing.

In the mid 2010s a flip switched that suddenly made edgy humor tabu and it's been a humorless cancer for our society since.

I'm actively watching FlygonHG, SilphSpectre (who both existed and did nuzlockes before Jan became famous) and also Antlerboy.

There are a few more, namely:
- Andrew Collette Show
- Nuzlocke Joe
- Mr. Ding Dong Games (inactive)
- in vivid color
- Chaotic Meatball

Flygon uses his imagination so much to create a narrative, it's incredible. Like the running gag with his girlfriend and him using handpuppets for every Diantha fight because in his first Gen 6 Nuzlocke the data of the Champ battle got corrupted.
He's giving a personality to every single member of his teams and seems like a decent person overall.
Jan would never pull such thing off, he's taking himself way too serious.

So, after reading the OP... I thought the whole "best nuzlocker" was kind of a dig at Wolf "pokemon champion that hasn't been close ever since" who I watched a few times (dropped him since he is such an insuferrable faggot). Jan did this way before wolfe, broken window effect i guess.
He even downgraded from "best nuzlocker in the world" to "probably the best nuzlocker in that world", such a kind act of humility.
Guy shows every red flag of a domestic abuser and would end up as one if he could get his sticky hands on a girls (or alpharads) ass.

Honestly my biggest surprise is that he wasn't gay since there were a couple of comments in a few videos where I thought "sounds like he's gay, so was probably molested and would explain the sperginess".
I still think he's at least bisexual, his thirst is way too strong and even if it's the usual irony-covered Jan style, he seems to be into stuff like golden shower and femdom. Not to mention the countless innuendoes featuring buttsex.

Simping for Jaiden was noticeable but I thought it was more clout chasing and "my lady" than outright lust. And isn't Jaiden a gender special anyway?

Pchal is too much of a nice guy/coward to openly admit he wants to fuck her.
When he expresses desire, it's way to exaggerated and bizarre to be taken serious, he has no scale how do express his wishes like an adult.
Would love to hear a story from a whistleblower how he's acting offcam.
I think he is really shy and uptight when it's not about something he can sperg about or virtue signaling.

Speaking of clover, any full lets play worth watching?
I second that.

@Executive Petrel thanks for the suggestions, just saw the FlygonHG video of Team Rocket and it was a good time. Will definitely check out more.

Is HoodlumCallum’s Clover Let’s Play still up? His Clover videos predate Jan so Callum is pretty chill in them and didn’t seem to have a problem with the edgy humor.
Will have a look at those then, thanks.
