And like many, as I got older, I lost a majority of my interest in them, but when JKR would pop back in the news with her latest bit of SJW virtue signaling, "Dumbledore is gay" or "Hermione could be black, I never said she wasnt!", I would just roll my eyes and move on. And the alphabet mafia and dangerhairs would lap it up. I never fell into the cesspool known as Twitter, so when the first bits of her "TrAnSpHoBiA" leaked out, I didn't pay much attention. But instead of like every other minor Twitter controversy and just being forgotten about in short order, since the rapid rise in the batshit crazy troon cult in the past half decade, the outright insanity and hatefulness of these degenerate faggot people has only intensified. You literally have these insane people who cut their cocks and/or tits off, and pump themselves full of synthetic hormones and gaslighting the rest of the world into believing that they are the opposite sex, literally stalking, threatening, and calling for the death of JKR, simply for not buying into their delusions. And horrifyingly enough, there is actually a not insignificant number of people who go along with their delusions completely. If JKR was even 1/10th as bad as some of the worst things that these faggots have accused her of, she would literally be in jail for crimes against humanity.

I read the first two or three Potter books way back when. A friend at the time had them gathering dust on his bookshelf, and, to the best of my memory, had never read them. He let me borrow them and some other books he seemed to keep just for the aesthetics of it. Potter was.. meh. Forgettable.

He was literate, but didn't seem to read books. Maybe someone gave him those books in hopes of helping him discover reading for pleasure. This was also a guy who sometimes seemed to have elevator music going through his head when a woman spoke to him, and publicly posted about how it angered him when his favorite actresses don't provide titty shots for his pleasure.

Fast forward a few years. He's now a very active user of Twitter. Pronouns, sexuality, and gender identity in his bio. He doesn't talk about Rowling much, but when he does he's clearly really upset that she has fuck you money. It's that impotent seething and barking of someone who wants so very badly to punish a woman for stepping out of line. The insistence that she really could be boycotted into submission.

When he says he was never a Harry Potter fan, I believe it.

Because I would be hard pressed to believe he has cracked open a book since he graduated high school.

Everything about this just seems to swirl around people who want to live in middle school forever, people who build their identity with commercial pop culture products, and people with a disconnection with reality. Topped off with thinking women are/should be easy targets.
