Hannibal had a very severe drop in quality in season 3 but I don't think it's quite the same because

1- Even the worst S3 Hannibal Episode are better than the best S3 R&M episode.

2- S3 was the final season of Hannibal.

As far as animated shows, yes I believe so.
I like season 3 of Hannibal but I agree it was rushed. But it had a reason to be rushed.

This show was never really that good. Season One was mediocre. Season Two was alright but had one shitty episode that sparked more shitty episodes in the next two seasons. Season Three is when then rot set in with all the Rickwank taking the pressure out of situations, more shitty 'lol, this genre/movie sucks' shit, and 4deep8me statements only a manchild who took until his forties to really become introspective to come up with. Season Four was nearly complete shit with an episode that made interdimensional cable 2 seem tolerable with how up in its own ass it was.

This episode made me laugh, but half of it was just some faggot Aquaman I haven't forgotten because the 'He controls the police' joke made me laugh harder than I should.

Is this the record for a show entering the zombie years? Seasons 1 and 2 were good, but season 3 is when it started to get bad and I would say roughly half of season 3 is good.

Community went exactly the same way at exactly the same point in it's run. I wonder what the common factor could be?

I haven't watched Solar Opposites. Is that worth a look?
No. Think Rick and Morty were gay, and also Summer and Morty were Rick. And pop culture references (not jokes) every 10 seconds.

It was fresh, and had some interesting characters, especially early on when Rick would kidnap Morty to endanger his life.

The SciFi setting looked nice and people were optimistic on how they would expand the world, but the writers were too stupid to do anything good with these.

The show is worth watching for the wall alone, but the aliens plotlines can range from passably good (15%) to atrocious (80%) to "do you even have a sense of shame" (5%).

Most of everything involving the aliens is unwatchably bad, It feels like watching family guy, except even family guy has charm and some stakes, and is way edgier than this.

This is just defanged family guy, all edge, no point, except even the edge has gotten dull at this point. Its 50% "lol so random" and 50% pop culture "references".

There's no wit or effort put into the writing. Every episode is sperm/turkey/slut dragon episode.

Also, lately they've been rampming up the gay shit to obscene levels, one B plot involves finding a teen who was kicked out for being gay and reuniting him with his family ending with a speech about how its ok to be gay with no comedy or sense of irony at all in the entire thing with the "punchline" being a rehashed joke from season 1 done much worse.

Still though, you should watch the show purely for the wall because it really is that good. It blows my mind that the same people responsible for writing the wall also wrote the rest.

Maybe it's because the writers are tying to establish some semblance of a canon now, but I don't think any of the episodes for season 6 have so much as gotten a chuckle out of me. They've really leaned in hard on pop culture references and I can't help but wonder what the writers must be thinking. What exactly do they think makes Rick and Morty so special that they can namedrop Gamergate and Reddit as part a punchline but when Family Guy does it it's lowbrow? It's lazy and terrible regardless and I know I'm beating a dead horse when I say this, but I wish normies would stop calling Rick and Morty a smart show; it's a sci fi comedy that has progressively begun to take itself way too seriously.

I just don't understand how you could watch that whole thing and not realise it was a parody? Did you need them to say "a little bit bi" another two-dozen times to realise they were taking the piss?

They said "A little bit bi" because if they outright said gay it would be too obvious. How was that taking the piss in a show where the main characters call one another "husband" every 3 minutes and there's multiple episodes where the main plotline involves gay sex?

Like every time it happens, the woman both knew nothing about it but felt like something was wrong, and also knew about it but was too afraid to report on it because she's a victim too!
