Eh they did Rick and Morty, then Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and now they're repeating the same episode of Rick and Morty.... It was funny, but I'm not watching it again. I hope if they change it up after this, somebody will archive it, but for now I'm off to bed. Take care.

I hate to be this dick, but Rick and Morty was much better before it got popular.

I liked it much more when nobody else was watching it, lol

It seemed like once it got popular, it attracted a bunch of awful and spergy weirdos and the show was then written for them. At least that's how it felt.
Nah, you have it a bit backwards.

When the show got popular, someone (I’m presuming Dan Harmon) decided that no, the writer’s room was far too male. They hired a bunch of women for S3 and then made multiple episodes around “deconstructing” Rick in a weird attempt to drill into the audience that no, he’s a bad person, which just ends up severely annoying if you already consider him to be that. People always remember the Pickle Rick episode for the stupid memes, and not for the incredibly obnoxious therapist scene.

Instead of seeing the increasingly obnoxious fanbase and toning it down, they decided to hire a bunch of people that hated said fanbase, which inevitably leads to it getting worse.

Solar Opposites, where Roiland has significantly more control, is so much better than recent R&M.

Harmon decided he needed a writer's room full of single women right after his marriage failed, which I'm sure is totally a coincidence, and he isn't yet another male feminist cloaking his sex pest behavior in progressive rhetoric.

This also played during the season 4 marathon tonight.
I thought this was a video game tie-in, but its just a pixel-art mock video game themed commercial for season 5.

Remember when the creators actually gave a fuck about quality and produced cool shit to hype the new season?

(just kidding, Rick and Morty was never cool)

Man I'd love more point n' click games for cartoons. I think Bobs Burgers could be a lot of fun in that style.

I don't get how zoomers consume shit with references more dated than their birth. It's worse than family guy that's at least embraces its retardation.
I don't get how Cartoon Network airs re-runs of this shit at 9PM. That's a little too early for kids. I know not many kids still watch TV but 9PM seems a little too early for me to watch this shit. I remember back in the day, Space Ghost was shown closer to around 10-11PM at night.

Depends. What's the lead-in? If it was Teen Titans Go! straight into Rick and Morty, that might be an issue. But honestly, with the exception of the dragon fucking episode, there's not really anything here the average 14 year old shouldn't be seeing.

Is this the record for a show entering the zombie years? Seasons 1 and 2 were good, but season 3 is when it started to get bad and I would say roughly half of season 3 is good.
Hannibal had a very severe drop in quality in season 3 but I don't think it's quite the same because

1- Even the worst S3 Hannibal Episode are better than the best S3 R&M episode.

2- S3 was the final season of Hannibal.

As far as animated shows, yes I believe so.
