Chantal has been moaning for years about her "accountant" being "mad at her" for not submitting her documents in a timely manner. I'm assuming the person she was referring to as her "accountant" was always this poor, put upon trustee, who has been respectfully requesting any sort of documentation on her income.

Now this poor man has to show up on her behalf in court, after being slammed all week by Karens who want nothing more than to see Chantal pay? I can't imagine he's showing up excited to defend his client and working diligently to get her the most lenient deal.
The works done already. He's negotiated her tax to get her liability down, and her creditors have already been told they're getting nothing whether they agree or not.
To his credit re: not pursuing anything harder this whole time: imagine someone looking and smelling like Chantal showing up at your office and saying "I'm bankrupt because I ate too many nashies" *ratface* (yes, she said those exact words and made that face when Milk Tea called her out on her bankruptcy.)
Would you assume this landwhale was making 6 figures and simply not disclosing, or would you smell her from a mile away, note that she likely doesn't have access to clean clothes and a shower, and hope that she dies and unburdens the country of her existence with no further incident, and shove her file to the back?
You wouldn't "assume" anything in his role...you'd check her bank accounts to find out what her income actually is. You can’t survive as an independent adult in this world without some kind of income, so he should have been able to track it. Even though there is little doubt her income was far less when she filed in 2018, her obligation was to keep her trustee informed of her current income and to pay her surplus income to her trustee. It’s clear from her expenditure that she didn’t do that. That’s why people are pissed…. because she’s a despicable person committing bankruptcy fraud, evading taxes, and openly bragging about it…and will in all likelihood get away with it.
We know Chantal's most consistent trait is lying. We're seeing it here just in her not providing her correct address for anything it would seem , this bankruptcy, her health, her car, not even on the lease. I’d be very surprised if her passport isn’t at that Cornwall address as well. Utilities are probably in Peetz’s name because of her undischarged bankruptcy as well. She’s untrackable via normal means even if her online notoriety has her real location pin pointed, that’s not where government agencies go looking.
Twitch, Only Fans, and youtube income I'd guarateed she's lied about. She carries a credit card she is not even supposed to have...I'm wondering if that is Peetz's card now because of all the times she's said she can never repay him enough for helping her out, and we don’t know how much he has done for her to keep her afloat in the past. It would also explain him quizzing her about paying her credit provider….it may not have been payday loans at all. He seems to be getting money from her while she’s away given we’ve seen him haul cat food, treats, and litter. It’s an easy transfer if they share a joint account.
