You know what ....I used to laugh at conspiratards and they're almost cartoonish portrayal of the ultra elite. it stopped being funny several seasons ago though. It's going to be Alexa, but for your brain. People love buying smart speakers, even though you're paying to be spied on by megacorporations. All they have to do is make it so you can turn your lights on or call someone on your Bluetooth with a single thought and millions will buy it. My guess is the implants will have some associated gadget you wear just so everyone can know you have the implant. They'll probably make Star Wars-branded versions too so Redditors can imagine they're using the Force.

Smart technology and transhumanism is pure evil. Don't forget the part where they want you to be able to link your brain implant with augumented reality so they can beam ads directly into your eyeballs. Like if you're thinking you want some food, you will see an ad for McDonalds or a grocery store in your field of vision. Transhumanists view this as a positive feature because it's "efficient" and helpful.

I don't say this lightly. I say there's honestly this is absolutely! Some of the most terrifying videos I've seen.

It turns out they can do wireless brain to brain communication over long distances and one brain can communicate with the other brain controlling it. I fucking hate this timeline. Like I said, I have heard that the endgame of tyranny is a soy hive of cybernetic "NPCs", who a not Borg-like upper class lords over with absolute power. I've also heard such an upper class could be augmented with medical treatment to be as close to biologically immortal as possible. Such an augmented upper class could then live it up like "gods on Mount Olympus", while a cybernetic collective of "little people" "live" as miserable serfs. Free will could become an upper class "privilege" if that happened.

Hopefully that evil won't happen.

Of course, to the surprise of no one here, a large portion of the agenda was dedicated to “net zero” initiatives, like the filthy little bugs now being snuck into the food supply of unwitting Europeans.
