This follows some recent drama about some girl named Eliza Blew and her supposedly being in traffic and shit that may or may not be fabricated, I dunno. Girl problems, I guess.

Hilarious watching the absolute boredom on the faces of these creatures in the first 90-seconds of this clip having to sit through geek culture interloper Chrissie Mayr's rambling attempt at a tl;dr.

But, hens are clucking and lines are being drawn, culminating in the BLOCK-hammer being dropped by Lady Alchemy on CG's Red Light District (and by "hammer", I mean most likely a simple block list). Having tolerated low tide at the pier long enough to get the scoop, I gleaned that significantly-more-plausible person-of-color Brittney Venti is the nexus of the drama, which makes sense as you'll no doubt recall her having several years ago taken a strong moral stance on YouTube against "LOLCOW" Martina.

Apparently, for Ms. Venti, spending a year co-promoting with e-girls and countenancing, on SimpCast, literal, actual, internet whores and various individuals of dubious moral repute and/or mental health (who often range from minimally-clothed to sans wardrobe) - to the point of arguably becoming one herself - has awarded Ms. Venti no purchase in Martina Markota's good graces. In fact, one assumes Martina is probably pretty miffed at the hypocrisy of it all.

My guess is that Martina is doing a victory lap over Venti eating shit (or is miffed about people coming to her aid), but the problem with that is that Venti's ban doesn't really sound all that legitimate when you really look into it.

Brittler's ban is not legit all things being equal, but apparently there were quite a few variables here that needed to be accounted for before some YT grifters and a few friends and allies in/around CG - all with something to lose - decided to dip their proboscis into giftwars drama thinking it's one thing, when it may be something else. Their minds ran straight to a simple Jack Murphy 2.0 when what they're dealing with may have shades of David Hogg. Politician's daughter? Friend of Elon musk? As for Martina, I'm sure what you suggest is true. She is also very clearly bothered by what she perceives as CG's embrace of Venti. Over jealousy that some toastie roastie wanted to get famous for saying Bad thing is Bad and misrepresenting her experience with Bad Thing? Sensing what may be a pyrrhic victory with this whole retarded, pointless shitshow, reality dawns on Chrissie Mayr 90-minutes into the topic after Anna leaves:

I've given Eric a lot of shit in the past for talking like a rambling, mealy-mouthed retard. He jibba-jibbas extemporaneously the way I post when I'm in a big damn hurry. That is, in long, disjointed run-on sentences with lots of hyphens and parenthesis, ghetto zen koans, and retarded logical tautologies that function more like punctuation marks the way retard Jeremy Griggs ends every quip and anecdote with a trailing "so.......". This leaves a person not accutely under Eric's spell unsure what is even being discussed, or if he even knows, but it allows Rippa to be both very vague and also succinct when he needs to. This would be one of those times and it is very useful for keeping him locked-and-loaded with an opinion and yet comfortably above the fray.

Brittany Venti hated her from the get-go, which I guess makes sense since they both appear to be attracted to gay men. Martina was able to come here and engage in conversation without making a total ass of herself, which is more than I can say for many public personas who poke their heads in.
Sure, her "burlesque" may just be goth stripping and her husband may be an emotionally manipulative beta male, but she has seemingly remained committed to delivering her book through far more adversity than the average CG upstart who abandons their project the moment they stop being featured on Frog's stream.
She also had the good sense to specify her enemy within CG without alienating 95% of her customer base in a sweeping "fuck CG" kneejerk response. She's definitely a "pick me" girl, but I challenge anyone to find a female involved in the culture war who isn't.
