You'd think furries would make more of an effort to weed out some of these undesirable people, but then again, I just remembered this is furries we're talking about. You know what though, I'm in a good mood today so I'm gonna offer any thread lurkers reading this an easy zero-effort way to weed some of these people out: DoucheBlock for Twitter

TLDR: it's a browser add-on that checks people's Twitter bios in the background against a list of keywords of your choosing. If it detects any of those words on literally any account that pops up on your browser screen, it automatically blocks that account (though you can optionally toggle a pop-up confirmation saying "are you sure you want to block x?"). In fact, fuck it, I'll even post my personal list in case anyone wants to work off of that:

For example, since the "woke" furries are big about getting rid of nazis or whatever, adding the word "nazi" is a bad choice, since actual nazis wouldn't actually use that word in the bio and you'd instead block a bunch of accounts that say "I hate nazis and wanna punch them" (unless you really do wanna block that shit, in which case, go for it).

NeilFox is a shitshow in and of himself. He's been fishing for attention for a while now, through a variety of means. This "documentary" of his is just the latest. The last one was the attempt to dilute conventions by hosting an "off-site dealers room." That didn't work out too well for him.

I don't mind furries as long as the furry is like the brony I do not mind: A person who is a part of the fandom but is not the sick, twisted, deprived kind. That said, I find the babyfur thing to be disturbing.

When the babyfurs were allowed on the mainstream furry forums/imageboards of the day (without, at most, being strictly quarantined to a single thread) was the day I stopped being a 'furry'. Now I'm just a guy who likes anthro art.

It's not a coincidence that not long after those freaks could roam around without fear, the furry equivalent of lolicon rapidly proliferated.

A LOT of furries will put their furry name in their address, then wonder why their mail doesn't arrive. The fact that artists are having to beg and share this post is actually really sad.

In the replies there were lots of words of encouragement, except for one particular individual. This furry (who, unless I am mistaken is one of the founders of the fandom) decides to, instead of offering words of encouragement, decides to be a passive aggressive bitch about somebody suggesting that their fandom is a sanctuary for sex pests.

They then proceed to enter a slap fight in the replies.

I know this is not much in the grand scale of furry drama but its stuff like this that makes me MATI. Its just more evidence of furries (especially the big wigs in the fandom) refusing to even acknowledge the rampant retardation in their community.
