For fun, I decided to check out what kind of special snowflake descriptions the authors have (not just the speakers).
Alex-Quan Pham: They are a Vietnamese femme. They are tender and dangerous. They love mangos. They have places to be and people to scare.
Hari Ziyad: They (their pronoun) are the Editor in Chief of RaceBaitR, a space dedicated to imagining and working toward a world outside of the white supremacist cisheteropatriarchal capitalistic gaze.
James St. James: He works as a transcriber for super-duper secret projects, tends to keep to himself, and is currently pitching a novel that scares agents. He uses his experiences as a way to reach out to others, usually by way of not keeping his mouth shut. When he’s not busy making cis gender people uncomfortable with his trans gender agenda, he likes to play vintage video games and eat candy.
Jezebel Delilah X: he is a queer, lush-bodied, Black, femme performance artist, writer, actress, educator, and Faerie Princess Mermaid Gangsta for The Revolution.
Justin Dennis: She’s a polyamorous, atheist, gender non-binary transwoman with a passion for fiction writing, feminism, and technology. She got her BA from Whittier College in 2015 doing a self-designed major called Writing Worlds, a mixture of creative writing and anthropology, focused on realistic fictional world building.
Katherine Rendon: is a second year student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, pursuing a degree in English and Environmental Studies. When not arguing with people at parties over the importance of feminism and/or veganism, she can be found reading, watching Netflix, at a concert, or tweeting long rants. She doesn’t go anywhere without a reusable water bottle and firmly believes that selfies are important.
Robot Hugs: The creator lives in Toronto; they have a degree in Linguistics and a graduate degree in Information Studies. Specifically, they identify as a non-binary genderqueer peoplequeer mentally ill non-monogamous kinky critical feminist robot. Their hobbies include worrying, being concerned about things they can’t change, being angry, being uselessly angry, hiding from the world, and knitting.
