This is actually confusing.

By saying he "supports human rights for everyone regardless of gender" he's saying that he supports the gendies and that he supports India. Then why would be like Rowling's tweet and not India's?
So let's say he actually supports Rowling and is saying that explicitly. Then the last sentence makes no sense unless he's saying that he believes that most of the "trans rights" are just wants instead of needs.

It is confusing because he is obfuscating and he does support Rowling, but won't say it explicitly because he doesn't want to deal with the meltdown. There is no other way to read it that makes sense. It's easy to do a pro-troon apology tweet, you just recite the magical incantation about transwomen being women, and he didn't do that or anything like it.

I'm surprised too, given what I know of him (which admittedly isn't much).

There are so many creators that have done so much worse, and yet they haven't gotten nearly 1% of the amount vitriol, and scorn she has. Compared to writers, and artists who have actually hurt people like John Lennon, and William Golding, Rowling saying shit on twitter is absolutely nothing. If anything, it's less than nothing.

It just shows how spoiled, and privileged these people are to think tweets, and a videogame constitutes irl violence. They have no idea what that actually is because they're so coddled, and sheltered. Hell, they're not even afraid of violence because they know there's none.

Don't feel like archiving it, but I saw a Reddit thread today about Hogwarts Legacy, and you can definitely tell people are already nitpicking the game cause of the Rowling connection and nothing else.

An early preview came out that revealed the game has 26 different spells, and almost every comment was bitching about how low that was and comparing it to games like Skyrim. But we've seen from trailers that the spells are actually all rather unique, and not just "projectile but it's a fireball, projectile but its an ice spike, projectile but its lightning" like in the games they're citing with higher spell counts.

I'm 100% prepared for the game to come out, turn out great, but still get critically panned by tranny game review sites for unfair reasons.
